so they made the step up to premier league and obviously to compete in the prem you need a bigger squad? the squads value was around the 11 million mark, the whole squad. he was given peanuts to bring in a squad that could compete in the scottish premier league, a bit of perspective. he set up the league competition in london and signed some absolute gems when at brentford, he has a well respected foundation for harnessing talent. can we tone down the baseless comments

I trust Warburton implicitly, Ive already said he'd improve our position regardless of what transpires in the market.

I just think the extent of the issues we have will require some serious funding if we're looking to press on this season, without knowing how we propose to fund it, Im just think we could sacrifice Britt to rebuild.

If MW can do it on a shoestring or Marinakis is going all out then that would be great.

Unless we can conjure a great goalscorer up from somewhere, selling Britt at this moment would be madness. Football in this country is big business; every other club is fighting to unearth some gem. Where are they? Only with one or two strikers getting a relative shedload of goals will we be able to compete. Piecemeal scoring spread around the team will mean we are far too easy to beat.

And lets face it; a Dougie-style pragmatic approach to defending will bring out the old ' I'm not going to Forest unless I'm watching entertaining (though ineffective) football'. Or ....'I'll scweam and scweam until I'll make mythelf thick'.

Certainly not advocating we revert to what Dougie served up, I'm aspiring to the middle ground where the team is solid at the back, cohesive & capable going forwards. Furthermore you can take it away from home & at least be proud of it.

We leak loads of goals, it needs addressing, as does the overall balance of the team.

Its a point of discussion until MW & the team work their magic in the market.

I have to say, you have not come across well in this argument.

Unless of course your objective was to make yourself look a complete and utter chomper, in which case, crack on.

People can't handle a difference of opinion. Like a communist state this forum. They'd have me put in some labour camp or put up against a wall and shot.

I'd argue that you're confusing "difference of opinion" with spouting bollocks.

Your perceived communist state solution towards you certainly does seem to have some merit though.

    Not at all.

Anyone who upsets the majority, we just PM Andy with their "home" address, and he pops round and bums them to death mercilessly, without lube, then flays them and wears their skin as a hat.

He's already accounted for a few malcontents.

Velios is off and Brereton and Cummings are not proven so yes it would be a risk to me...

So who are we playing in the Europe next season then?

He's remarkably good. I realise he's a wind up merchant and yet I'm still tempted to bite.

It's that lethal mixture of awful grammar and stone-faced ignorance that does it. Once you factor in his enthusiastic narrow-mindedness and complete negativity there's no turning back.
    Hat off to him.

I'd ordinarily like to think he's a troll or a WUM, but TES's behaviour on here replicates how he almost single-handedly finished off the ForestMad forum.......in his role as moderator on there!

Thankfully, he won't be able to have a similar impact on here.

Wrong. Forest Mad was dying before I became mod. Its heyday was years before that. In fact I barely posted when I became mod. If I wanna become mod on here it'll happen. So you can kiss me arse.

Far be it from me to dampen your ambition, but I think your confidence on that happening is ever-so-slightly misplaced.
