He seems to get on the end of a lot of corners and his headers have a lot of power. If he can work on his accuracy which is currently poor, then it would be a real asset next season.

I just realised he was captain on his debut, must have impressed somebody with his demeanour.

Don't know if that's a good thing Val. The premier clubs radars will be in overdrive now

Proper centre-half and a leader. We should be looking to build our back four around him.

I massively lament the loss of Lascelles, but if we can move forward building a defence with Worral then great

because our defence truly is broken

Played again tonight, won 7-1 (Cuba had a men sent off at 2-1 I think it was). Watched 10 minutes or so, Worrall spent most of it on the half way line. His passing was tidy, with both feet too. Not much else to say other than that.

Joe Worrall captained England Under-20s to a comfortable 3-0 win over rivals Scotland Under-20s to reach the final of the Toulon Tournament

    Good spot there OMR.

And I'm sure our Academy staff will be pointing that out to prospective recruits!

Surely the next Gareth Bale ran riot against a second string England U20 team?

Worrall had him in his pocket all game.

I'd like to think he'd be vice captian next season.

Shows what a load of meaningless bollocks Category 1/2 status is.
