I had a feeling that Cummings might play from that side cutting in on his left foot. That was before all the Britt speculation though so who knows. Ariyibi isn't a traditional Warburton wide player either is he, in the past MW has employed more technical players as narrow wide men.

I personally feel that Cummings and Vellios will be sharing our centre forward position, with Brereton/McKay on the right and Carayol/Grant on the left.

He wasn't even good enough to make the bench last season. He's clearly not good enough for this level yet.

I hope we won't be expecting too much from Grant - he's not very good and looked good at County but that's only because he was playing in League 2!! If MW can improve him then so be it but in a Forest shirt he's not even been average at best! I remember Sheff Weds away, people forgot he was even playing as he didn't touch the ball!

    Same here.

I've got a feeling Cummings could be that Johnny Russell type of player for us.

The Brentford side were more a narrow 4-3-3, all passing and movement.

Not really deploying traditional "wingers" at all.

Exactly my point so it's not a huge surprise that Ariyibi isn't in MW's plans for now.

Think traditional wingers will be a "plan b" option, like how we used Carayol in a lot of games last season.

The number 10 style players like Clough, Osborn, McKay, Ward will all likely be rotating between each other and causing havoc.

They,ll be defending looking at our central midfield.

Havoc might be a bit optimistic.

Looks like it lacks a bit of pace.

Could he be freeing-up a shirt for an incoming right-wing-back Mase?

    Mase at right wing back.

Thought he was better than s number of so called experienced players we had on the pitch that day. Very hard to make judgements on young players in shit teams generally playing out of position!

Loan may do Ariyibi good. Him being 22 a slight worry but he could be another late developer like Mcleary who didn't come good until around 23/24.

He certainly does not lack pace or a strong foot.

He's definitely got something about him.

Personally think he could have been quite useful for us this season. He reminds me a bit of Carayol so maybe Warburton felt they were too similar?

    Next season hopefully....

He plays on the right wing tho, so you'd assume he's been loaned out to make way for Brereton's progress. Ward would usually be competing for that position but he's been injured.

Its mad when you can hear individual people clapping at the MK Dons stadium. Absolutely empty.

Yup, it sounds like a busy reserves match.

His manager at MK Dons said he's outstanding at this level but needs to improve the defensive side of his game.

He's had question marks over his application and attitude in the past I believe.

We don't know what goes on in training.
