    I agree with Thomas.

Abdoun showed glimpses of real class.

I saw him on Derby Road outside the Private school near the Playhouse with his kids and he was a great chap as well.

Scored his first Motherwell goal v Celtic in the game before last.

Hopefully he does enough there to receive a bid. Don't really want to keep on to the hang-oners.

Interestingly Motherwell's captain is former Forest youth Richard Tait. Think we got him from Curzon Ashton ? Whilst at Tamworth I think he was living with a young Benny Osborn freshly out the academy.

'Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings' - Salvador Dali 1904-1989

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

A devastating blow, can't see how we will recover from such a huge loss.

This is weird: in case you're thinking that this is a favour by a friendly to us Greek club, it isn't. Panaitolikos is rumoured to be on very friendly terms with PAOK (to put it mildly), and their owner is vehemently anti-Olympiacos and anti-Marinakis in particular. They've recently struck a deal with Benfica, who have loaned them several youngsters.

The club is located at Agrinio, one of the ugliest Greek cities.

    Nope!

I think of all the signings we have made in the past this one is THE strangest.

Signed on Lester's recommendation when he was in caretaker charge with Brazil, didn't even make a squad during his 3 years here.

I'm desperately trying to remember if he played in the U23 game pre-season against Lincoln. There was a chap who looked vaguely like him running down the wing putting in a tremendous amount of work without ever gaining much success.

Sounds as if it might be him.

Apparently he did, out of match sticks, which proved a valuable time filler for the years he's not come to close to playing for us.

He just scored his first goal in Greece. He has been poor in one of the worse teams in the league; he began as a starter, soon he was relegated to the bench.
