I need to have a meeting with the chairman for some advice on what we can do together."
I'm not sure if that quote has been altered or taken out of context but his post-match interview did NOT state there was no money.

What he did say, is that he hasn't spoken to Fawaz yet but it is urgent to talk to him to understand what the budget will be, especially if Lansbury leaves. He said he had a list of targets but he needs to know the budget, and he added that if there is no budget there are still things he can do but he needs to know that.

So basically he hasn't had any communication with Fawaz yet about how much money is available. He certainly didn't indicate there was no money. No budget (yet) yes, but thats a different thing.

    Bader al-Rashidi, player-manager.

Always options out there, I'd go for Davies, then Clough. Then maybe Pearson, Rowett.

In the first 6 months? Sounds about right numbers wise.

And the option of sticking rather than twisting?

I'd go for Lester until the takeover because he knows the players, but I wouldn't wish the job on anyone.

Everyoe who comes in as an interim - from Charlie and thingy, to the last dude - they get sacked.

Lester is doing an awesome job with the kids, we don't need to try and fuck that up beyond all recognisition as well as the rest of the club.

I just cut and pasted it, then added the highlighting, so the BBC would have had to have changed it. I don't remember it being said during the interview, but I didn't catch all of it. I did wonder if PM had said this meaning he didn't know his budget, but its not what they said he said here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38539067

As I heard it, he said he didn't know if there was money available or not, but if there wasn't, he had a plan as to what to do (which, one would presume, would be loans from somewhere).

Let's face it - where we are woefully short is midfield. Especially if Lansbury goes.

We need to get a proper, no-nonsense Defensive Midfielder and a Playmaker (as clearly Vaughan has run out of legs). Maybe a bit of pace, too.

That I think would give us enough to steer clear of the bottom three.

Jack Lesters one for the future, you cant seriously believe putting him in charge as things stand would be a good career move.

Jack Lester and Gary Brazil are doing a fantastic job with the Academy.

That's our future and arguably more important.

We'd be mad to fuck up that dynamic.

Leave them be. Brazil has already proven he cannot do it with the first team and his talent lies in other areas. I'd hate for Lester to come in and not be able to get results either.

Ron Noades appointed himself at Brentford and won promotion. May as well do it now. It can't ruin his relationship with the fans at this stage. Also the only man likely to be given time by Fawaz Al Hasawi.

I find it strange how Billy has never worked for another club on both occasions that he's been sacked from Forest, its like he's destined to come back again. I know he's a crackpot but his results speak for themself, I cant see anyone else daft enough to take on the basket case that is Forest!

The odds on Andy Pandy becoming the next Forest manager have just been slashed!

That would be me swapping my season ticket for a Belper town one. Would be gutted as mostly shaggers frequent the nailers.

Ryan Giggs as player-manager, Scholes as player-assistant manager... Then when they both get fired as the management team by March we still have two over the hill but still cracking players on the books...
