Interestingly Warbs picked out 2 attacking midfielders who were both promoted this season in McGinn & Dowell.

Dowells a bit tenuous, weighed in with a couple of goals but he didnt start til January & Sheff Utd were well on the way by then.

True, but played a significant part in getting them up tho. Only lost 2 out of the 16 league games he played in. Not a season changing addition, but a great loan to add quality for little. Would certainly have sooner had him than Dias

Think it's fair to say that for 2.5m + wages, a McGinn & Dowell combo would have been good additions to our squad this year when you consider we spent similar on the Soudani + Dias combo.

And we could have sang this too! ............

Cummings is fair enough, for what McKay cost though he returned more than enough to justify his purchase

When you say returned I'm assuming you mean the fee?

If you do then because we made a profit then yes I agree. On the footballing side he let the man down who brought him in, as did Murphy.

QPR to make the playoffs in the next 2 seasons might be a decent outside bet for value

Theyve been bottom four in the concession rate last couple of seasons. I dont see Warbs turning that round quickly enough to trouble the top six anytime soon, not using the scottish market.

Do you think he might want Cummings? A real threatening attacker with great energy.

Nah, I think it'll take longer than 2 years for Barca to come knocking tbh.

A real character too, would be great for the QPR dressing room. Go get him Warbs!

He was meant to do this for us. Walker-Peters, Carter-Vickers, Onomah the pick probably.

    QPR fans will be overjoyed.

Cummings next & there'll be a queue for the Thames.

He certainly has been busy. Kelly, Barbet, Wallace, Amos, Smith is half a new team which is what QPR needed.

Your boy Freeman off to the Blades.

Just realised that Warburton has signed 14 players this summer. My mate backed QPR +26 (Championship Season Handicap) @ 19.0

They'll all be shit Scottish pub players like McGinn, James & McKenna.

Think this year is a big ask. Next year though I'd fancy them.

If QPR gave McClaren the time he got, you'd imagine Warbs would get the time there to prove what he can/can't do.

I think while McClaren was there they were on a big cost-cut, with little to spend and lots of outgoings.

If that was the case and they've loosened the purse-strings for Warburton, you'd expect their board's expectations to rise accordingly.

They haven't spent any money, all have been free transfers or loans.

They are all very Warburton signingss, pretty much either his former players or Prem loans.

Fair enough - they'll probably still bin him if they're in the bottom half of the table. Such is life for a Championship manager.
