There may be outside factors playing a part, but ultimately Fawaz is still the Chairman and the sole source of finance going forward.

Just as we come on here to discuss all things Forest, I'm sure Fawaz will be using all the contacts at his disposal to further our cause. Where we come on here or discuss football matter over a pint in the pub, I'd quite imagine Fawaz discussing his options with other people in his own billionaire version of the local boozer.

Outside investment, of the potential that we are seeking will be found in a very small pool of rich investors.

I wonder if they have there own forum to discuss their hopes for th forthcoming season.

I bet Fawaz is posting pictures of squirrels right now

I'm still a bit confused as the original claim was that the capacity was reduced because of the lack of a safety certificate holder, but now they have one and it's only been partially restored. So, even if Bexon was still at the club - would the capacity have been reduced anyway based on whatever criteria they are now up in arms about?
As I understood it, Bexon relinquished his role as the certificate holder due to various concerns that he raised being continually ignored. This came to the attention of NCC who issue the certificates and review annually.

NCC imposed the ultimate sanction in view of the club not having a valid safety certificate. Bexon was then persuaded to become the holder again on the condition that the club takes the responsibilities of his role seriously. A reduced-capacity status was imposed until such time that the club has demonstrated that said conditions have been fully adhered to.

Marinakis brought in the 7 signings, PP, and PM, but obviously Fawaz is the one selling Britt and Burke

Cheers for that - it makes much more sense

The problem arose when Chas Ralph, the Stadium manager, was let go; Bexon complained about lack of ownership for the stadium upkeep and was told that Ralph's understudy would assume responsibility.
Apparently the understudy has since been let go and Bexon threw his toys out, complaining to the Council that H&S was not being taken seriously.
The Council want to see H&S on the agenda at Board meetings (what fooking Board meetings?) before the capacity is allowed back to normal levels.
I don't think the Club have broken any laws, its just the potential is there for something big to go wrong.

After 40-odd years, it wasn't that unreasonable to offer retirement to Ralph and for his two assistants to continue doing the maintenance. However, Tifrit's decision to get rid of those two, added to the truly farcical decision to dispose of Jane Carnelly's services was the likely reason that this situation arose.

More by Sanchez. "I agreed with Marinakis 2 take over #nffc ,where M has invested+rules as Oly" (obviouslly refering before PM taking over)

Just some interesting tweets from the Greek journo that's been reporting on stuff.
If anything it tells you what a complete lie that interview with the post was.

To add to the above, I was told that the two maintenance lads were sacked (presumably as part of Tifrit's cost-cutting brief) in the daft expectation that the club's groundsman and his team could pull in any stadium maintenance tasks as part of their duties. As if tending to the CG and NDA surfaces isn't time-consuming enough!

The club under Fawaz is a shambles.
Fook him off to Kuwait, get some proper managers and staff in and let Marinakis' men run our once great club properly.
    Enough is enough.

Any cost cutting brief at a club that pays Mancienne per week what these guys earn in a year is looking at the wrong departments to trim.

I wonder how much the reduced capacity will cost in ticket sales too?

    2,000 tickets at £20 a pop is £40k.

    1,000 tickets at £20 a pop is £20k.

More than enough to pay for some staff.

Fuck the Greeks over. He better watch his back.

Think it's over with the Greeks now.

Antonis Oikonomidis ‏@antoikonomidis 21m21 minutes ago
@paul_26773 (allow me 2 use u as a vehicle to answer). 1) Firstly, sorry for the misleading info later today. First time me, first time u.

    2) indicative though on what happened+who knew about it. U can all jugde if my tips so far this summer were valid and by that

    3) understand the "power"+influence of my sources in the club. So, when i was told "no sales for PM+PP" i took it literally.

    4) obviously it was a warning sign. Didnt get it, sorry for that. As for the deal. Whatever is mentioned is of course true.

    5) PM+PP r totally against. For the sale (in general) and for the price. And this is the most worrying fact (for now.

    5) PP+PM were against it. From the very beginning. They didnt know it (at its full scale at least). As for the Greeks.

    6) That is more complicated. Since they cant sign, they cant have the final word in decisions taken by mr Fawaz.

    7) selling players was a major issue. For reasons apart from football, EM didnt want, mr Fawaz wanted to+was looking to a major 1

Greeks of course knew the offer. But were against the sale. Couldnt prevent it though. Remember, they cant sign...

    9) By that sale, mr Fawaz gained more (financial) power+this is not good for sorting some issues at the club.

    10) so, i guess that this sale wont be good for more things. And, yes, these involve everything u can imagine.

    11) I'm not the one to put the blame to one or another. I'm sure that neither of PM+PP wanted this+were assured that noone leave

    12) to my eyes (if its for anyone's interest) is a solo, 100% ego act of one person who always try to be ahead of everything.

    13) as for me now (the least, but to clarify that also). Its something that you all, Forest fans must act. I'm obviously no help

    14) so, i'll step aside, posting only things i know, hoping that the guys telling me these things will continue being @ the club

    15) Thank u all for your patience+understanding, excuse me for today's mis-information, but now, its up to u all 2 handle it..

and by doing this today, i think that he put in danger much more things than just selling a player.
