Let's see if there is any truth. A bit random not to be.

No jokes but Fawaz's has said in the past that this guy was a Forest fan because we were looking to form some sort of partnership with Olympiakos.

Nothing to do with them owing us after derbyshite, the terrorist and the best thing since sliced bread djamel joining us from them

Well he's certainly properly minted, similar wealth to Fawaz if the reports are to be believed! He certainly has had loads of success running Olympiacos and there's only so far a Greek side can go. It would be daft to plough even more into the club just to do better in Europe when they are already head and shoulders the best team in their league anyway. I can see it would make more sense to buy an English club and get them into Europe instead as they would need to be of a similar level to do well in Europe as they would in The Prem. Would be nice if he could get us back to the top! Wonder how much truth if any there is in this? At least we would still be financially stable and have a very experienced owner. Sounds good to me if it's true and wonder would Fawaz want to sell up? I'm sure a fair few would welcome a more clued up owner!

But what about all those on here who said nobody would ever want to buy Forest? They can't be wrong can they?

    He hasn't bought us yet.

I'm still waiting for MON to finally seal the deal with his consortium, or the Big Ham Salad Eyes syndicate.

We've been sold more times than we've been bought.

I wouldn't fault Fawaz if he did sell it to him as the club would be in better hands. I'm grateful for what Fawaz has tried to do regardless. He has however been pretty naive and if Fawaz is wanting to be the hands on owner that it seems he wants to be then he is out of his depth in the championship. I'm hoping Fawaz either steps right back and attempts to properly structure the club and lets a real CEO actually make the decisions or moves the club on to someone who is capable of building the club into becoming a success both on and off the pitch

I think everyone agrees that Fawaz's heart is in the right place, he's just done a terrible job.

Don't be silly now! The Hasawi family won the bidding to take on the 2nd division money pit that is Nottingham Forest, along with it's over expectant fanbase. I think that we should show them a little more respect!

If it turns out that the grass is not greener on the other side, hope all the c**** that drove Nigel Doughty and Fawaz out of the club stick around to recieve the abuse that they will fully deserve.
