The bloke who was mainly viewed as responsible for this has piped up on the BBC today, to say he was a bit stitched up.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41092764

He does seem aware of how poorly applied FFP actually is

"I think we are already in danger of creating a closed league, through financial fair play," he says, referring to Uefa rules which generally mean clubs can only spend what they make, and break even.

"It means there are five, six, clubs that are wealthy enough to dominate the Champions League over the next 20 years - the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich.
"A Celtic or Ajax will never win the cup again, while the likes of AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and other historic big names are condemned to almost second tier status."

"I've been blessed with many things in this life: an arm like a damn rocket, a c**k like a burmese python, and the mind of a f**king scientist" - Kenny Powers

The first comment says it all:

Or, we save the big teams playing each other for finals of major tournaments when it actually matters and give it a sense of special occasion? No? Ok then, quantity over quality it is.

Noses to the trough it is.

    Fuck em, bye.

The FL will take a hit but once everyone's fed up of the overhyped, shit, can't lose games ending 0-0 and the ridiculousness surrounding it, the FL will grow and be the better competition. Oh and if any in a superleague wish to buy from the FL then there's a "proper" football tax added on.

UEFA wont let FIFA disrupt their premier competition.... without UEFAs clubs no competition can compete.

Look at the club world cup... a chance of FIFA to get a part of the pie.

Clubs win the premier league and celebrate that they have won the league and are in the champions league.

Clubs win the champions league and are happy they have won the champions league.

Its only when it gets to December and the club get a memo that they have to go to japan or Brazil that the club world cup gets a mention.
