It's not going to be pretty but Derby will be very effective with Rowett in charge

Tom Lawrence looks like their next addition.

I still think without Ince they'll struggle creatively. I watched a few Derby matches last season, and my main thought is always "how did we mis-use Tom Ince so badly?".
Yes we can all joke about him being man of the match, but for Derby he very much looked like a match winner, which frustrated the hell out of me.
Now he's gone I just think they've lost that spark.

It's the Rowett way. Derby will grind results out far more than create them this season.
Thing is those results will be losses & draws

    BBC today:

"Securing a Championship play-off place is the very least Derby County should be aiming for this season, says new signing Tom Huddlestone."

Ummmm? It is going be really tough this year to be in the top six.

The first link you posted is to an article that doesn't exist (always wise to check these things etc), the second is to the Daily Record Mark Warburton said that Cummings transfer was less than the £1 million reported. Who do you believe more, the Daily Record or Mark Warburton?

    http://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/...tingham-184658

"They are the type of signings we are after, but so is every club. We have to do our work well and we will. But I am delighted with the quality of players we have here already.

"That (£1m) figure is wide of the mark, it was not that much money. We will not reveal what it was, but it was not at that level."
    - Mark Warburton

My point remains. How much per week will Huddlestone be on at Derby? Probably a few pennies more than what we have Cummings and McKay on here.

How would I have gotten the link AND used a quote from it if I hadn't checked it?

Amazingly, I can't predict the future...

If Warburton says it's lower than perhaps it is, he would be the man who knows, but it is not what was reported in practically every area of the media.

Britt fee was reported at length to be 14m, but 'Boro came out and categorically said they paid 15 for him. It happens

They should have filmed Pride Park instead, if they want dullest footage of dumb sheep.

They are looking towards a niche audience. With that in mind it will be shown, in segments, during half-time at Pride Park throughout the season, apparently to bring more life to the place.
