If Vydra's agent had a brain he'll have put a non-promotion fee in there. I don't think they're getting 15m for him though.

It's ridiculous, but sometimes you get more for less experience, because you still have the unknown as to whether they can be a Prem player. Look at Britt, people at one point were talking about England and he was even holding off from DR Congo because of it. I think it's now been seen he's not at that level, but it definitely adds to value.

Vydra has been up and down in his career so far. 2 good seasons for Watford, nothing in the Prem for WBA, terrible at Reading, good at Derby this season, but then he only got 5 in 33 last season.

I wouldn't be confident spending more than Derby paid for him (8m).

Derby will get more than £8m if they choose to sell him. I don't think £15m would be out of the question.

He was the same in the regular league fixture a couple of months earlier. Best (defeated) match of the season that one, possibly the decade.

They sold Hughes and Ince off to the first bidders last season, and they'll probably have to do the same again if they need money and quickly.

Don’t normally condone that sort of arseholish behaviour but remembering Keogh’s part in getting Dexter sent off I will make an exception

A bit dark isn’t it considering they claim the footage was before the game?

    Still amusing though!

He won't be the only one they sell either. Next season is about cost cutting for them.

I think there was more to it with where they sold players last season.

They sold players to clubs who they owed money to...

    Vydra - Hughes

    Butterfield - Ince

This year they owe money to Leicester. But I don't think they'd want Vydra really. Not sure he's got the character to play in the Prem.
