Thread: Hilo de adios de Daniel Pinillos

Default Hilo de adios de Daniel Pinillos

Was at the game yesterday and was gutted to see Daniel Pinillos limp off the pitch, if there is one player we did NOT want to see get injured its him (as he is a key player and we have no viable replacement).

Maybe Chris Cohen (when fit) can fill in or Michael Mancienne possibly........god please not Fox

Any insider news on how serious his injury is?

Great player, done a cracking job so far.

The only saving grace is Pinillos isn't asked to get forward much, whoever slots in needs only to focus defensively & give it easy to the left sided attacker. That probably still rules Fox out, but Mills or Wilson can slot in & we can still keep progressing in my opinion.

Serious though it undoubtedly appears, even the club medics will have no "insider news" until the swelling has subsided sufficiently enough for Danny to have a scan. So, in the meantime, take any ITK claims on Twitter or elsewhere with a large pinch of salt.

David Vaughan, Wilson can't be relied upon for an extended run of games.

The man himself says he's going for a scan tomorrow (Monday).

    Not looking promising though.

If there's one player we didn't want to lose, it's the young Spaniard, who has been frankly excellent this season.

One consolation for whoever fills in there will be the reassurance that he'll get effective assistance from Benny Osborn.

Lichaj left back and move Mancienne to RB? Mills and Hobbs in the middle.

We've actually got a few (Lesser) options at LB at least.

Lichaj I'd probably keep on the right and put Mance on the left, No point playing two out of position.

At least Cohen looks like he's going to be back soon so i imagine mancienne at left back temporarily until Cohen is fit enough to take over. Hopefully Pinilos injury is not too serious.

We only have 3 more games before we can get a replacement, so not too long withnwho ever becomes the makeshift LB in the meantime.

Would you pick the inexperienced but highly promising Alex Iacovetti? Might not be a bad time to try him as our situation isn't as bad as it was 5 weeks ago,to blood a youngster.

For me, this lad has been the best player so far this season.
Keeps getting better with each game. Gutted that it looks like he will be out for a while.

Whether Dougie would go with him is another question, but from what I've seen of the lad, that wouldn't be a bad shout. He's got a physical presence and he's played there for various academy sides. He'll also have experience around him and, as I posted earlier, the presence of Benny Osborn to ensure he isn't left exposed.

Yes, him, Vaughan and Doris have been exceptional.
I'm praying it's not serious because we looked half the side once he hobbled off the pitch.

Pitchside camera highlights on Forest Player have the challenge/injury on there. Its at 4:11 (ish) on there. Looks like he wrenches his knee round with his foot planted. Not normally a short term injury...

The best we can hope for is that it's a case of twisted rather than ruptured ligaments.

I think it's time for us to invent some kind of code for players names to hide singling someone out whose playing really well for us for their own protection.
I will leave that for the brains of the forum to work out....... On 2nd thoughts the sooner we implement this the better.

looks innocuous, but then Chris Cohens most recent tear looked like nothing too, at least Dani is young, hopefully its just a sprain or something, either way, hes going to be out for a while youd think

Sometimes injuries look really bad and then the scan reveals no serious damage, so let's hope for that.

At least if Fox comes back in, we will have someone to blame for absolutely everything.
