Academy player, did his cruciate a couple of years back just after we got to the youth cup semi against Norwich. Could be a good prospect, but fell behind Ollie Burke in the youth pecking order.

Damn I forgot the "of". Now it looks like I was calling you Paterson.

He seems to be suggesting that Douglas likes judging players quickly and getting rid of them. So I was thinking of players Dougie had got rid of that he must be angry about, and I just presumed Wes must be a big fan of Jamie Paterson (or Pato as Wes so affectionately calls him).

More a comment on Dougie's disposable youth policy.

That would also be a good Fall album title.

Have we still got Wilfried Gnahore? Each time i've seen him play in the youth set up, he's looked like a fantastic player.

Was intrigued seeing this guy play last night, as I'd never heard of him until Forest posted on Facebook about him potentially getting a game.

    I think Gnahore was released.

As to Petravicius, he was pretty good against Norwich in the youth cup, as I remember. Looked a powerful winger rather than quick, I think.

Last night he seemed, as much as one could given the circumstances, to be both willing to look for the pass and willing to get his head down and run through the English defence. I'm not saying either went well for him but he obviously wanted to make something happen and was well marked by comparatively seasoned top-level players.

Can't have done his progress any harm.

On the couple of occasions whilst he was on the pitch that Lithuania broke, I thought he displayed a good turn of pace. Albeit without the ball.
