I'm not sure that has always been the case. Having had the benefit of seeing a lot of him when he was at Peterborough, he used to offer a decent turn of pace and powerful runs with the ball. I wonder how much the injury reduced his capability to do that.

Like his goal against Ipswich when we stayed up on the last day.

Sheffield United interested according to my Blunts mate. Don’t see him as PL quality myself but then Wilder has turned less talented players than him into superstars so who knows?

Wonder if we have a sell-on clause? He was sold under EM so it’s a possibility.

I think Boro met his release clause, and normally if release clauses are met it's just a straight up figure with no add-ons, so I very much doubt we do.

I'd have him back here. Lost a lot of confidence but with players like Grabban, Carvalho and Lolley around him he could be that top striker he was so close to being a few years ago.

No, his value now is lower than what we sold him for (so we sold at the top of his value) while his wages are probably double what we paid him.

Makes no financial sense, before you even consider his injury, form for Boro, how he’d fit in our team etc.

We shelled out a big fee for him, he did the business, we made a huge profit. Best leave it at that I think.

Yes. Would have him back in a heartbeat.
I also think he would link up very well with Grabban.

If he was sub 5mil I'd probably get the fat fucker in as well. Even if it's just as a boost to the Nottingham Wine Bar & Club scene
