How do you know that one isn’t?

I wish Danny well with Wigan.

Not always the most loved but he had more than a few glorious moments at Forest.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

Bad move to sell him, IMO. He's a dedicated player and a good back-up/rotation option.

Here's to wasting money on bringing a worse replacement in.

Didn't realise he had been with us for 5 years.

Shame he is on his way but at 32 (33 in May) he probably has one decent season left in him and was never going to be a long term option for us. If Wigan want to offer him a 2 or 3 year deal then good luck to them.

Karanka really should have moved him on in the Summer.

Tried his best and seemed to care but for me he is League One standard. Pleased to see him leave, granted his performances have been much improved at centre back.

Had some rough spells, but seems a decent bloke for all that. I, too, wish him luck.

Overrated. Need better for a promotion push. Found his level.

But, thank you Danny. You came back from the deep depths of the sqaud to be a decent sqaud player with passion our fans loved.

Could look incredibly classy on his day. Pulling off last ditch tackles and then pinging it to a red shirt halfway across the pitch.

..but when he had a bad day (which were quite regular when he first joined) he was really, really bad.

Good move, his attitude is good, but he was brought in as a left back who turned out not to be able to play left back (Harding, who he replaced again, was much better) and just about managed to get by as an average centre half.

300k for a player who is 32 and out of contract in the summer isn't a bad fee.

Disaster at left back, turned it round at CB & gave us a couple of really good seasons. Committed on & off the field throughout when he had as good an excuse as any to say fuck you.

Bodys starting to give out & his form of late was on the turn. Good time to do the deal.

All the best Macho man. ooooh yeah.

    Interesting words from Fox.

“There have been changes at Forest recently and this move came up and ticked all the boxes for me personally.

Translation: The new manager told me I was surplus to requirements.

He may be a really nice bloke but after watching his performance at Reading I for one am very pleased that I'll never see him wearing a Forest shirt again.

    Well, he has really.

They have conceded 2 goals with him on the pitch in his 5 games.

He's been off injured twice though.
