Superb. He was impressive last night. Not just for the save but for his communication with the defence (as far as you can tell from watching on TV).

That save was amazing. Highlight of the game really and makes you wonder why managers here don't seem to want to make him number 1

Me too. Something of a foundation to build upon.

It was a good save. But that defending is embarrassing. Dont get a tackle in and ball watching.

Thought he was a bit dodgy for the goal, his lack of footwork cost us again.

Although I was very drunk last night so will have to revisit that.

It was a fantastic save! I couldn't help but think Darlow would have been picking the ball out of his net about 3 times in the first half.

    Cant fault Devries attitude.

Sits & watches a very average Darlow last season, Signs a contract, watches more mediocrity from a departing Darlow with nothing to play for. Enter Hamer to knock his resolve even further. With all this going on, Devries has quietly got on with doing everything right between the sticks.

Good role model for those who think they are hard done too at Forest.

Still need another keeper if only for back up.

I wondered this to, I think some keepers would have got a hand on it.

Not sure on that mate, from my POV the ball should have been dealt with before, he didn't really stand a chance

If he's not aware when the ball is in his box it makes him even worse. I don't think he is a bad GK but this isn't the first time he's fell to the floor when some basic footwork would keep the ball out.

To be fair to him he was probably nackered from all the stops he had to make.

It's a good save, but I think it's been talked up a bit. Not a patch on this from Lee Camp...

I remember Steve Sutton pulling off saves like that. De Vries is a good enough goalie. I would not try to replace him. He will do this season.

Doesn't need to replaced but needs backup/competition.
