Very talented dribbler and technical player.

Won Toulon under Worralls leadership but jumped to Wales months after.

I had to check it was the same bloke. He's one of those quick players with a little flash of ability every now and then. Like Carayol with a higher IQ. Hilarious signing, are they already preparing for the Championship 2019/20 season?

Would Vydra be a better buy than Bamford for £12m?

Don't think either are worth £12m, not that Vydra would be available to us anyway.

I don't think so. I don't think he's someone who can really lead a line as a lone striker, works much better playing off someone; scored the majority of his goals last season behind Nugent and when he scored well for Watford he was Deeney's partner.

Think outside the box. Posh seem quite good at landing strikers who go on to succeed.

Perhaps we should look at the players they are interested in and jump in first?

Like George Grant. He would be a good signing and wouldn’t cost too much.

It’s a hell of a game of risk isn’t it?
We’ve spent big on Joao Carvahlo and I’m happy with that. I mean how much would you need to pay for Neves now? We’ve picked up some on a free or loan deal and Soudani for €3m but if we don’t spend the money to get the marquee signing right up front then it could all be for nothing.

For me it’s Grabban/Hernandez or someone Karanka/Mendes can pull out of the bag that hasn’t been spoken about yet.

Think we'd rather spend £20m on a player that's low on wages than spend cheap on someone on £40k a week. Transfer fees, done properly, should be recouped in the event we need to sell. Wages are obviously just wasted and cause disharmony amongst the squad

and make players impossibe to shift. Keep them on low wages and you have all sorts of markets to explore for resale.
