Did you not see Mills just leave it thinking Smith had it?

I just don’t get the shit coming Mills way it was the goalkeepers ball and he should have come and put Hogan into the stand with the ball.
Mills was no worse than any of the others tonight and if you want to make him the scapegoat, don’t bother,Traore was shit

Mills makes two mistakes: first he lets his opponent free himself without even noticing it, and then does not try to intercept. Yes, Smith was at fault, but a defender cannot relax and sit down to drink his cup of tea supposing that the keeper will do his job. His job is to clear the ball before the keeper.

And certainly not to complain afterwards as he does in all the games I've seen him.

Hes the reason why we conceded in my opinion, if Smith gave him a shout then fair enough but he should be clearing out there. Crosses come in thats the nature of the game the center halfs have to be physical in clearing the danger. Dont get me wrong we didnt look like scoring either the attackers have a lot of the burden to bear.

Mills let Hogan cut across him, and Hogan met it before it got to where the keeper should had been.
Iím confident that the new manager will see Mills for what he is, and thatís a liability. He tries to get to balls that are not his to win.
Iím not saying he had a mare tonight as we should have offered more at the other end of the pitch.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it because Worrall will be back in next week anyway. It's just about finding him a top quality partner.

You can't go on only with Worrall and Mancienne. There will be cards, there will be injuries. You need a quality defender yesterday.

Mills is a clone of Jake Buxton.

Matt has a lovely man bun though. Soon be Angela quality. And he always has a helpful word for the other players.

It will be a shame when we send him to the knacker's yard.

We could have Pep or Mourinho as manager and until they offload Mills they wouldnít do shit. The guy is an unpolishable turd.

Hobbs is the real problem. I'd wager he's on nearly treble Mills' wage and hasn't played regularly for three years.

The majority of our back line just isn't very good. It's pretty much the same defensive unit we've had for quite a while and they've never looked anything better than bang average at best.

Mills is just a sub par defender in a sub par team.

    It's the top-knot isn't it?

Why has he got a fucking top-knot?

It angers people. He headed a ball today and I thought Fifty Pence was back, in defence.

It could be argued that Forest might be better off if they paid Mills three times as much for him not to play......

Thought Mills set the tone for his performance by aimlessly hoofing a clearance inside 10 seconds.

He's either great or shit for me, either way he's agricultural.

The pass he ridiculously overhit by 10yds in the second half was borderline hilarious.

Who is out of contract in the summer - Mills, Hobbs and Fox?

Actually, in Joe Worrall's absence, we probably missed Fox today.
    Let that sink in.

Mills was on a different wavelength to everyone else yesterday

Mills at fault for the goal. He let Hogan do a simple loop round him from front to back and never moved his position. I assune he was ball watching. Then he made no effort to get to the ball.
Really difficult ball in for the keeper but Smith did get a little caught in no man's land. Clough didn't close Snodgrass down well, but that's not his game and I think Karanka has to take a lot of the blame there as Snodgrass was always going to be their main threat.

    Yes.

    And Vaughan and Cohen too.

Karanka said in his post match how interesting it was to see how the players performed on the match pitch compared to how they played on the training pitch.

Following Mills' performance yesterday, I doubt Karanka will play him again.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.
