Happy's pushing it, prudent maybe. It certainly seemed to be a case of not minding not chucking more money at us, not that you could blame him.

I was under the impression at the time that the FL allowed the Pedersen transfer to be concluded because the deal was at too much of an advanced stage, which seemed both bizarre and against the basic so-called rules of FFP.

It appears however that Sean Harvey and co now have no choice but to to respond to pressure from other clubs which, quite frankly, says more about the sheer incompetence and lack of integrity of the FL than anything else.

Think they may have broken the wages element of FFP.

One would have expected that the finer details of the Pedersen deal would have at least been scrutinised by the FL in terms of the transfer fee, the player's wages and his agent's fee before ignoring its own rules and sanctioning it.

    On loan as well...

The EFL don't have a clue what they are doing. They need to either get a set rule for punishment or do away with it all, the whole point was to stop clubs doing a Portsmouth, but when you have Blackpool, Hull, Charlton owners destroying clubs whilst sticking to ffp its just ridiculous.

It would help if the EFL were more public about it all. They seem to say nothing, even when clubs are under embargo - they leave it to the press to report it.

    Where is the transparency?
