    Default Dougie's coaching set up

After Billy Davies and subsequently Pearce's departure our coaching team has been left pretty depleted.
Some of the academy staff stepped up last season such as Gilligan and Lester and we've seen the arrival of Hunter and the new technical analyst neither of whom are training pitch coaches. Dougie also brought with him Lennie Lawrence. However this still leaves the cupboard pretty bare when it comes to coaching staff.

Anybody else think we need more talented coaches?

Anybody aware of any future arrivals or changes?

I am sure Dougie himself had said he would want more coaches in the summer break. I noticed Steve Stone has just finished at Newcastle. I personally think we need some talented coaches to help shake up performances on the pitch.

I went to Blackburn away few months ago n we got there pretty early after spending the morning at Trafford Centre. I watched the keepers warming with goal keeping coach Steve Sutton. I know for nearly 12 years that he was a brilliant servant for us in the 80s and early 90s. But watching him warm up our keeper was something out of Sunday league, he could hardly kick the ball. Nearly every ball landed in the stand behind the goal.

After seeing something so sub standard I would of thought a new fitter goalkeeping coach was in order this pre season. Stevie Sutton is a lot larger these days he makes Kenny Burns look like a Size zero supermodel.

Just playing Devil's advocate here, but if Steve Stone has just been sacked from a coaching job are we assuming that he's a good coach or not so good?? Just a thought....

Tim Flowers could hardly walk never mind provide effective warm up for our keepers.
    Its a good point.

We need Stone and Woan in to coach our wingers. Or, you know... to be our wingers.

Give it a rest eh? getting rather tedious with your posts. It doesn't take a genius to guess that you don't agree with me without replying to every one of my posts with a slight dig.

So the general consensus is, Neither coach warmed up Darlow effectively. Hence the 30 yard daisy cutter dribbling past Darlow each game. He made decent saves towards the end of the game when a match was lost because he was warming up during the game picking the ball out from the net.

Calm down eh? Most of it is just ribbing, kid. Whether F4S is agreed with or not.

Yeah, i work on site so i know all about banter but every point i've made recently you have to have a dig at F4S. We just care about the whole club making it better for everyone. If the club is doing well off the field it usually transfers to the whole atmosphere of the football club and that has been sadly lacking for years now. People work day and night to pay to watch Forest etc and the level of service we get is usually crap compared to other clubs.

Whilst I appreciate your sentiments are genuine, do you really think anything will change?

Our club has been run like a pub team, under a succession of owners for nearly twenty years.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Honestly? We will always try, but following past meetings we do sometimes feel you paying for lip service. The club are like " Brilliant idea" we will do that". When we asked about cleaning the ground up making it more welcoming, putting banners on the pillars at the back of the Brian Clough stand etc. But they still remain untouched, We have a wonderful ground in a wonderful setting but we feel the club do not realise what they have some days.

But the one thing we would like to do is invite everyone that agrees the club need to be ran better off the field. To then orgainise a meeting with the club with a lot of people there to try and implement our thoughts and ideas to make the club better.

First up, I only post when I deem it funny, I didn't post fans 4 coaches so don't say I've replied to every point you've made. Perhaps you should just accept a fair few people disagree with you and your movement. Personally, I don't, I did before you changed your moniker bit if you lads can get anything done better or improved for the fans then I'm behind you all the way but don't expect me to not have a laugh, whether it's at your expense, mine or anyone else on here, life's to short.

Fair enough mate, Well we've had our fair share of people disagreeing and it's all about opinion i don't expect everyone to agree with us as that would be naive. But it would be great to get more and more people on board. The more people with opinions idea's etc may make the club realise we need to improve drastically. I've never known a pre season like it where the mood is low. I'm sure it wasn't as bad as this in 2005 following our relegation. If the club engaged with the fans a lot more and improved the level of service the mood will be a lot happier.

In all honesty I'm just a bit numb to it all, apathy has set in and it's summer, so Forest is at the back of my mind. Like I said, if you can improve Forest, the fans experience or even just the coffee I'll back the movement.

Cheers mate, Sorry if my earlier post was a bit abrupt i do genuinely apologise. Just trying to ensure our group isn't seen as a joke. We really want it to work so we can try and make the whole experience work for all of us Forest fans. That goes from the service you get from the club shop, Match day experience, and genuinely feeling part of the club.

No worries, like I said, especially on this forum, you'll get ribbed even if it's the greatest idea ever. I think jumping to defend it from jokes might put people off. Everyone likes a laugh, even if the subject is important to them

I think this summer our group is going to sit down come up with a plan to ensure we come across as a supporter friendly group and not come across as a group to oust Fawaz. THIS WASN'T OUR AIM IN THE 1ST PLACE!. Also to be go between from the club to the fans, So fans can ask us anything that they want to be asked and we will raise them to the club ans also have more people to come to our meetings so we become a bigger voice to make it a better club.

    Appeal to the Masses!

Good luck. I know it the group never wanted to oust Fawaz but we've seen it before with ND that a few disgruntled "fans" can bugger everything up not that that was ever your intention.

Anyway back to coaches, all for anyone who'll improve the current set up. Sentimentality gets you nowhere.

Why do I get nervous when you say things like that?

Finally, I think The " Anti ND Group" were just people who wanted to get on TV but missed out on the summer riots on 2011 so they thought they wanted to do their bit in October 2011.
