Default You review of our Season 2014/2015

What are your thoughts on this season?

Most Memorable event of this past season?

Mine has to be going to our local rival with the form guide against and winning in the last minute from a youth graduate!

    Worst moment of the season?

The home performance against Birmingham and the sad fact Pearce failed.

    Surprise of the season?

Michail Antonio being so good after Sheffield Wednesday fans were so keen to see him leave.

    Best away ground this season?

    Sheffield Wednesday so much character

    Worst away ground?

Not so much much the ground but a trip to Norwich drags, sure it's quicker to get to the moon.

    Breakthrough act of the season?

Ben Osborn keeps getting better by each game

    manager rating?

6/10 decent start but finished very much how Pearce finished. Needs a good start in 2015/2016 season or sadly Fawaz itchy trigger finger will start to twitch!

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

Mine would have to be Adlene Guadioura, gives the midfield so much running something we have sadly missed since his departure

    what are your thoughts?

Most Memorable event of this past season?

The emergance of The Fight 4 Stability revolutionary Forest faction

    Worst moment of the season?

When the Fight 4 Stability revolutionary Forest faction were defeated in their fight for stability.

    Surprise of the season?

The instability, despite the emergance of the Fight 4 Stability revolutionary Forest faction.

    Best away ground this season?

Sheffield Wednesday. Made from Sheffield steel. Very solid. Very stable.

    what are your thoughts?

    Stability here we come!

Most Memorable event of this past season?

Psycho's first game back. When he walked out to a packed ground was awesome

    Worst moment of the season?

Pearce not cutting it as a manager.

    Surprise of the season?

    Michail Antonio

    Best away ground this season?

    Pride Park

    Worst away ground?

    Pride Park

    Breakthrough act of the season?

    Ben Osborn

    manager rating?

Pearce 6/10 - Good signings (maybe not Lars, but I guess we dont know yet)
Freedman 6/10 - Good start and limited options to bring people in

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

Assuming we are not being daft (Messi), then a realistic target would be Bamford

    Pearce walking out against Blackpool.

    Worst moment of the season?

Pearce's radio interview in which he sounded like a broken man, about a week before his removal.

    Surprise of the season?

    The regression of Henri Lansbury.

    Best away ground this season?

Brighton. Although I think I only went to two away games. Sorry, armchair fan here.

    Worst away ground?

    Leeds

    Breakthrough act of the season?

    Ben Osborn or Antonio.

    manager rating?

Thought Pearce was beginning to put in place a good foundation for how the club should be run, which would have been beneficial over the long term. I think his signings were mostly good, although paying out as much as we did for Asbo wasn't worth it - not because he isn't good, but because we shouldn't be paying that much for any player until we're in the league above. On the field was a mixed bag so I'll give Pearce a 6. Dougie gets the same rating after a good set of results which tailed off. Performances weren't particularly pleasing on the eye from either manager.

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

Agree with Guedioura as we've lost the central midfield battle all season. Not sure I'd pay "whatever" money for any player who would realistically join us though.

    what are your thoughts?

Same shit over another season, spend a lot of money, sack a manager and finish around mid-table. No consistency, no long term approach and now we're in an embargo. Nice going, Forest.

What are your thoughts on this season?

Most Memorable event of this past season?

    ''Osborn... DOESN'T NEED HIM!!!!''

    Worst moment of the season?

So many in all honesty. Birmingham at home was pretty horrific. Millwall at home worse though.

    Surprise of the season?

    Antonio

    Best away ground this season?

Brentford's Griffin Park. Was a superb day out. The away end was rocking. Brentford fans claimed it was the loudest following they've ever had down there.

    Worst away ground?

Reading. Awful and a mooch to get to.

    Breakthrough act of the season?

    Osborn of course

    manager rating?

6/10 decent start but finished very much how Pearce finished. Needs a good start in 2015/2016 season or sadly Fawaz itchy trigger finger will start to twitch!

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

From players in the Championship last season I'd have absolutely loved someone like Troy Deeney running the line. Leader, goalscorer and just a terrific player.

I love a good piss take as much as the next man but in defence of tnewton anyone who thinks that £630 odd season ticket prices are acceptable at our level and are content to let things like that go unchallenged are overseeing the death of football as we know and love(d) it.

What are your thoughts on this season?

Most Memorable event of this past season?

Any moment that either King Billy Davies or SOD spoke or possibly even farted. I mean, this would inevitably be better and 'mean more' than any other Forest manager since they left us, right?
All other mentions of BD or SOD on LTLF are of course also tremendously memorable and we should always remember what we could have had if we had stuck with them. I mean we wouldve won the Premier League with either by now.

    Worst moment of the season?

Whenever anyone dared to question whether or not BD or SOD wouldve got us promoted or are better / worse than our current manager. Or offer any other viable opinion. Theyre the worst people and will only encourage ridicule of course.

    Surprise of the season?

That mentions of BD and SOD on LTLF were so limited and that thread after thread wasnt hijacked enough with continual mentions about them by any individual. Must try harder to hark back to these managers more, and impress on people just how vital they were and what one or either wouldve done with Forest.

    Best away ground this season?

Any ground that sung about BD or SOD. Only reminds us how good they were and what we couldve had.

    Worst away ground?

Any ground that didnt sing about BD or SOD. I mean, don't these people appreciate just how good it could be if they had either of these managers in charge for a longer period of time?

    Breakthrough act of the season?

Any thread on LTLF which carried on the mentions of the legacy of BD or SOD.

    Manager rating?

0/10 Why don't we ever learn. I mean, BD wouldve got us promoted with this squad (of course), and SOD wouldve built such a stronger club overall.

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

Either take BD out of retirement, or if not, make Paul Mckenna club captain and assistant manager and only conduct the interviews so he can talk about who we should have in charge.

    What are your thoughts?

There's a big empty hole waiting for BD to fill. 3rd coming? If not, i'm sure SOD is still available. Any other opinions should be immediately ridculed.

Most Memorable event of this past season?

I think Pearce walking out was fantastic, but the pure emotion, drama and occasion of the Derby 2-1 win is up there too.

    Worst moment of the season?

Every day we lost under Pearce, it just felt like a dream was being crushed, slowly. I really hated the day Darlow and Lascelles were sold though.

    Surprise of the season?

Henri Lansbury signing a new contract, on my birthday

    Best away ground this season?

Leeds United, the game was a bit drab but I quite liked being there (from what I remember).

    Breakthrough act of the season?

Hard to argue with Osborn, he's just gotten better and better, and he seems to be learning from his mistakes last season.

    manager rating?

Oh this is too difficult, Pearce I refuse to rate lowly. Freedman is a surprise package so far, but let's see what faces he brings in and how he approaches the start of the season.

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

    Guedioura or Nahki Wells.

I endorse and concur with everything in this post.

Raymondo's saved me the effort again!

Most Memorable event of this past season?
Beating the Sheep in their own back stable

    Worst moment of the season?
Going from THAT moment to him being sacked

    Surprise of the season?
The fact that anyone was surprised when Cohen, Reid and Hobbs got injured

    Best away ground this season?
    Brentford

    Worst away ground?
    Charlton

    Breakthrough act of the season?
    Osborn

    Manager rating?
Pearce: 5/10 - Made some decent signings and started strongly but it all went oh-so-wrong and if it hadn't been for a last-minute winner at the sheep, it would've been a lot more bleak than it was

Freedman: 6/10 - Again, started strongly and should be given credit for getting the players playing straight away. Ended very poorly. Only marginally better than Pearce in that overall the football has been slightly better.

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?
Guedioura should never have left and the squad is crying out for someone like him in midfield now

Most Memorable event of this past season?

    Pearce and that tunnel walk

    Worst moment of the season?

Paying a tenner for a seat at Rochdale that literally didnt exist.

    Surprise of the season?

Been told id still have to sit in the seat by a steward at Rochdale

    Best away ground this season?

Blackpool, my seat was padded and only cost a quid more

    Worst away ground?

    Rochdale..... where was my seat?

    Breakthrough act of the season?

    Ben Osborn

    manager rating?

    5/10 replaced like for like

One player you'd happily sign of it regardless of money and an embargo?

Wilson from Bournemouth, should have got him instead of Britt.... cheaper, didnt break and can lead a line much better which would have suited our play
