A bit of Brexit light relief for a Sunday morning!

Sir John Major has his say:

And I find myself agreeing with much of what he says.

„The revolution will inevitably awaken in the British working class the deepest passions which have been diverted along artificial channels with the aid of football.“

He just cites reasons people actually voted against a huge transnational political and econimical neoliberal bloc.

Inequality is growing because of reduced restrictions around trade, ownership, capital etc. People fundamentally don't want the American model, and don't want to be governed by a powerful, untouchable European cartel that believe in the same thing.

You could argue that the Tories are worse, but their position of power in UK government looks like a busted flush. The next UK government can't be as economically liberal and pro-privatisation as this one has been.

Yes. Many of us argue exactly that.

You may also recall at the time of the last election, when many were mooting a resounding Conservative victory, only one poster called a „hung“ parliament, which is what you got.

Unfortunately this has left you with an ineffectual minority government, held to ransom by the DUP.

Anyway, whilst the British dither about whether or not to draw an imaginary border somewhere in the middle of the sea, the Chinese (a great bunch of lads) want to launch an entire artificial moon in to space:

It’s proper, big thinking like this that puts the Conservatives to shame.
