At least you can cut a deal with US for food supplies instead of EU and enjoy their pretty advanced health standards

They allow also some number of hair or insects per some quantity (not very high!) to avoid increasing cost.

If you see a lovely field with a family having a picnic, and there's a nice pond in it, you fill in the pond with concrete, you plough the family into the field, you blow up the tree, and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife who's also your brother.

They have big sheds that nobody's allowed in, and inside these big sheds are 20 foot high chickens.

I have often felt that early German Expressionist poetry loses something of its didactic brutality in translation.

The govt are completely closing the M26 overnight to see if it can be used as a huge lorry park. No consultation or prior notice was given. Grayling was forced into saying it was part of contingency planning, not even the local tory MP knew about it despite being given assurances that no such planning was going to be carried out.

I did wonder if this was an excuse to do a dry run of what might happen if there was a terror incident at the tunnel? It has long been felt that the Tunnel would be a terror target.

To admit they were doing a terror dry run might cause more concern.

If that was the case, they clearly have no confidence in the local MP

Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't? You never know when the national security boys go about their business.

I never saw any follow up to that fake bomb at Old Trafford incident the other year. Did anyone ever get punished for that or was it a set up to test evacuation procedures?
