Default Free Beer for Leicester fans

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

To be fair, everything I've read about their support has sounded top class. Always lots of noise apparently. Well done, definitely deserve that point. Here's hoping we join them soon!

They've been handing out those plastic clapper things at games. Tinpot m8. The free beer thing is nice though

Another nice gesture. They gave free t-shirts out the other year as well...
It's good to see clubs encourage and thank fans, I must say I'm envious, all we seem to get is closed sections in the ground and folk moaning about flags being waved during play.
The free coach h to Boro away was good though, despite the poor uptake with it being boxing day.

Come to america, say you'll pay them back in a week but you have to fly back to England with heroin shoved up your ass.

It's football stadium beer though. Still not sure I'd bother.

Free beer is free beer, even if it's the watered-down piss served in football grounds.

But I get your point; my morning piss probably contains more alcohol than the IPA served at the City Ground.

My Dad left his beer at Wembley last week at half time. He said it was undrinkable. He doesn't do that very often/ever.

They got free stuff for the Sunderland away trip too... breakfast roll, t-shirt and a £5 voucher for at the game. Good gesture from the owners that. Learnt their lessons well from their early mistakes, let's hope Fawaz can do the same.

I don't want free piss or other gestures. Just promotion.

I do think we have a slight chance of promotion but not from this division.

I had the pleasure of attending this game with hospitality tickets through work. Upon getting to my table for my pre game dinner everyone had a Thorntons chocolate champagne bottle with 'we're staying up' written on it, a free bottle of Carlsberg was also then offered & taken.

A full Sunday carvery was on the menu with jam roly poly for dessert, good quality food and great entertainment watching all the Leicester 'supporters' From Thailand trying to fathom how a carvery works.

Everyone was given a free flag and a free clapper thing which are quite annoying. The atmosphere was okay, but felt quite artificial, its loud purely as a by product of the clapper things being 4 times louder than anyone can manage to clap themselves and it also enables you to remain on twitter whilst 'clapping'.

It was an okay game, QPR were very poor, Leicester took their chances well and Jamie Vardy is never an England quality striker. They just felt like a club that had everyone pulling in the same direction, it is painful to say but we as a club are so far behind in basically every aspect imaginable and for that reason we'll continue to be the nearly theres or 'that should be us' crew. What makes it worse is that i can't see this changing unless we get a new stadium. They had hundreds and hundreds of people in this one room of hospitality that was basically as big as all of our hospitality offering combined.

It was actually quite depressing ha!

It's been like it for years.

Forest are it seems years behind most other clubs when it comes to commercial activities and the like.

We have a potentially massive fan base, an iconic stadium (that drastically needs improving) and an enviable history.

That we continue to piss that legacy away under a regime that seems to think money can buy success, annoys me more than anything I've seen on the playing side recently!

So, Leicester give away free stuff to their supporters. Have they paid for their stadium yet? £5.5m would buy a lot of free beer, flags, and clappers.

It's pointless improving the ground until we get in the Prem though, apparently. I mean, what club in their right mind have done that?
I can only think of a dozen or so if you include new stadiums as well

But money, if it's spent right, CAN buy success. I won't bore myself by quoting the ton of examples.

Thing is Chriscl, (and I'm not putting you in this category), I'm fed up with all those fans who have already written us off for next season. With organization and resolve and courage, we are capable of beating anyone in this division. Nothing's quite right for a large number of our fans; we'll never be satisfied. We can be the opposition's 12th man. If the ref hasn't already beaten us to it.

So Dougie is shit, Antonio is shit, Mancienne (you've guessed it - shit), Lichaj (yep, shit), Burke (1 and 2) - crap, Walker - poo, Osborn - droppings, Assombalonga, when back - faeces. Hobbs (!!), Mills (!!!). Crap crap crap. The lot of 'em.

The appalling run under Psycho was inexcusable considering the players we could call on.

Pride and commitment please. Can't wait to get on that beach.

I know it's close season but I'm getting depressed already.
