Default Early Bird Season Ticket Sales

    http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/ne...e-2458160.aspx

Club say over 10,000 taken up the early bird season ticket offer.
That seems a decent amount. Perhaps the rumours of the clubs demise are not as strong as some on here thought.

Still chance for you to join the happy clappers.
It could be a surprisingly good season. Maybe by fluke Fawaz has found the right manager and the long term formula for success. That's part of the preseason gamble. It could be. It might not be.

I always thought that we had around 14,000 season ticket holders, still a few to sell if so.

That is decent considering the doom and gloom floating around.
Unfortunately, gates will be down with matchday ticket increases though.

I renewed mine, £461 for 23 matches is good value as far as I'm concerned.............even when we're crap. But we live in hope that next season things will get better...........

Exactly Joe Baker's Dog! Mine works out at just over £17 a game, so really good! Yes it might not be a great season but let's be right, we haven't had a great season for a few years now! All you doom gloomers, support the mighty red dogs, not abandon ship when the going gets tough!

I can't imagine many people were waiting for the early bird window to close, what with the price increase, so I imagine 10,000 will be it for next season.

The club saying on Facebook that 11,000 have taken up the "Early Bird" renewal.

I thought from memory we had around 14k Season Tickets - you would think with the swinging price increase that anyone wanting to renew would have done so, rather than waiting, and I'm not sure if, with the now significantly higher prices, and the dross served up at times last season that we are going to be that much of a draw for new ST holders?

I must admit I'm surprised that they haven't been in contact with folk who haven't renewed to find out why.

I think it sums up the way Forest is. We don't really care if you renew, we've got Fawaz.

    Oh I unsubscribed from those

If I were running a business though and I could easily identify previously loyal customers over several years I'd have a plan to contact them if that expected behaviour changed.

It's Forest. Normal operating procedures do not apply.

We've got a core of about 12,000 who will always buy a season ticket I think. Saying that, i'm amazed we've got 10k sold already. That's a real testament to the loyalty of our fanbase, we've been through enough to put everyone off....but what else do you do on a Saturday?

    I'm not.

Haven't even received so much as an email this time. It's a bit poor to say the least, with it being our 150th year you would think someone at the club would be rallying the fans. Or something. But nothing.

I've renewed my ticket for Brian Clough Lower again, couldn't imagine not doing. It'd pain me to have to sit at home whilst Forest were playing at the City Ground.

Which is ironic, because a lot of the time lately it pains me to have to sit at the City Ground whilst Forest are playing at home....

Yes but it's not just the poor football we've witnessed recently, it's the whole matchday experience! Meeting up with your mates, have a few beers and catching up then into the pub to watch SSN checking the results.

What I'd love to see next season is more home games on a Saturday!!! Think we had more midweek night games than a 3pm Saturday kick off!!! It was stupid!!

My middle son will turn 18 in September and my eldest is already nearly 20. My wife doesn't know it yet but football days are going to be a bit more boozy and about the whole match day experience even more. Last year I went with my middle son who couldn't drink (didn't stop me having a couple) and my eldest rarely came. Looking forward to it already!

Not as much as it pains me to watch it
