Injuries have derailed our past few seasons so much that right now I'd rather we went for poorer-quality players with good history, rather than skilful but injury-prone players. I think we need to get back to basics. We need a reliable team as opposed to a few individual geniuses that are likely not to play half a season.

It would be worth it just for him to score the winner against Derby.

He's a twat, he's played for both Derby and Sheffield United, he hates Forest (which to be fair is a good thing; stirs up the rivalry nicely, shows a bit of passion) and he has a personal song to the tune of Wonderwall.

Jesus Christ there is literally no redeeming feature about him.

ward is a good player and can change a game on his own however the injurys make him a massive gamble if you can keep him fit hes a top class championship player and more than worth a punt for you guys he just had to many for us last season a shame tbh i always liked JW.good luck to him wereever he goes ( even if its you lot ! )

Looking positive according to Nicko. Brighton were in for him too, so either we've outbid them, or maybe he's chosen the club nearest to where he lives.

I think it could be a gamble but it could be one that pays off.
He's got a bit of creativity that we miss without Reid. He gives us more options up front to.
If we get him we need to get him fit in the summer and manage his injuries as effectively as we can. For under £10k a week he might prove to be a wise acquisition. I suspect it might piss off our sheep shagging neighbours too.

Certainly a creative move if true. I don't like him much, but it will stop him scoring against us at least

    Not good enough for Derby.
So why is he good enough for us.
    Oh - he's free!

A sad indictment of our prospects if this is the kind of shit we are resorted to throwing money at.

I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

    Don't want him one bit

If he scored for us would he behave like he did everytime Derby scored against us. Or would he show respect and not celebrate? I think the latter

Really don't want him and don't think I could cheer or support him anyway

It's not like it's Hendrick or Bryson, or someone else relatively normal. Ward is the ultimate arse bandit

Exactly. A horrible little scrote, and I can't think of one redeeming feature he has. Hardly prolific and he has that goading attitude I don't want to see in a Forest shirt.

It'd be as bad as us signing that knobjockey Savage, were he still disgracing the stadiums of the Championship.

Seems like we're signing him just because he's free and kind of ok but he might be about the best we can hope for sadly

Took the words out of my mouth.
As much as he's an unpleasant little turd he has Championship experience and has shown his ability against us in the past.

I don't give a rats arse if he played for Derby, Or if he seems a twat and doesn't like us ( Most of this is just a front that some footballers use eg Barton etc )

The main worry for me is his injury record.

Vaughan , Hobbs , Wilson .... Why do we sign biscuits.

I agree with lard. Barring the injury problem he would be a 'perfect' signing due to our problems. All of the Derby players are twats, Derby probably think all our players are twats. They probably hate osborn for scoring even though his dad supports Derby, I think he's a hero though.
