Goddamnit puds, that's a great post but I became addicted to Hob Nobs when I was in Britain the 1st time (I can now get them over here). Now every time I see them, I'm going to think of a broken Jack Hobbs.

"Told that Ward is asking for considerably more than £10k a week, apparently.
He is likely to be beyond reach for Forest" Quote from Paul Taylor on the webchat.

    Thank fuck for that.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Would be very surprised if he was on more than £10,000 at Derby considering their top earners were Conor Sammon and Richard Keogh on £12,000.

Maybe that's a special rate just for us. Only estimates I can find put him in the £9,000 - £10,000 wage bracket.

What does football manager have his wages at? Seems to be the resource that is used in these issues.

That's the problem. These mediocre players hear that other mediocre players are getting 25k per week so they all want it. The FFP might do us good in the long run.

How could any Forest fan want this little twat at the City Ground. He has insulted us numerous times and makes no secret that he hates us. Go to Sheff Utd you little prick. Tosser.

These max 10k a week wages are going to be a problem for us signing a lot of players, need to be looking at lower league freebies

Is a really good player on his day. A live wire who can create something out of nothing. His best days are behind him now though as he is always injured. So a definite no, especially as he is a little shit too as others have said.

I'd expect him to come here and deliberately play shit and pick up a pay packet. That's the type of **** he is...

It'd be so Forest to find away around the FFP limits, to then go and sign an ordinary Championship player, pushing 30 on inflated wages.

I would have taken him until I heard others mentioning his injury record, which I wasn't aware of. It's as good as we can expect on permanent signings this summer, be warned.
