Default season ticket prices announced (get your early bird!!)

    Ticket prices now on OS.

Into the £600s now. Get on the early birs if you can folks.

No extra charge for cards, so I might have to flex the plastic...

In percentage terms, its quite a leap. I expect the club will be bracing itself for some flak.....

Season ticket figures will be well down next season

If next season is as good as this one, at £633 that'd be...

    £16.81 a Forest goal
    £18.92 a Forest point
    £67.28 a Forest win

I've made my mind up earlier than expected. No season ticket for me. I join my friends in only going to a couple next season I think.

More for me; my ST, which I'm renewing today under "early bird", is £461.

The same seat at full price would be £525, or £64 more.

    Ouch.

£633 for division 2 football, those Bentleys don't buy themselves.
    Madness.

Think ST's will be down next season.

Big signings tend to draw the gullible in, but that ain't going to happen.

    Tedious times ahead imo.

I'm not even going to pay for Forest Player so I can listen to commentary anymore, it's so dull, so I can't see how bumping ticket prices is going to do anything but piss people off.

When are Champoionship contracts going to be set so that every season the club fails to get promote, the basic salary drops 20%? If relegation is a recognised income killer for clubs, non-promotion should be as well, given that most if not all clubs overstretch to some degree to achieve it.

Last year I bought a bus to touring about in accordance with my long hair and Irish heritage. At first, it was difficult because I'd not want to be away on match days. Psycho's coming home and all that. Well, I wouldn't miss a day on the road for a Forest match now. That's after being a fanatical listener or video streamer of any match I wasn't at since about 2002.

Even some who renew this year will be acknowledging to themselves that "I love the club but it doesn't necessarily make my life any better at the moment. It doesn't make me happy".

Blind patriotism only ever lasts for so long as is convenient. I dearly hope we do well next season, I just can't devote my finite passion and patience to the drudge of It all, and despite a live match being the best cure for supporter blues, I can't see a price hike having much of a different outcome for others.

It's not a marriage, this. We pay (at the bare minimum) to fund a heritage, an ideal, a club in a community. We shouldn't stop, but we shouldn't throw good money after bad, either. Early bird schemes exist because it is useful to convince a percentages of customers that taking time to quietly reflect on large outlays of money is a bad idea. Quick! Buy now! Before you talk yourself out of it!

The notion of it being to "reward loyalty" is patronising and absurd. Look how the club rewards the loyalties of Jara, Fox et al.

I really hope the chief executive knows what he is doing with this hike.

The average price increase for season tickets not being renewed under the early bird offer is 15%. I repeat, a 15% increase.
Clearly someone at the club does not want to see a full CG next season as this increase is just out of order.
Bearing in mind that season tickets prices went up for this season anyhow ( 2014/15), performances home and away have been poor, and inflation stands at around 0%,it is beyond belief the NFFC have the audacity to announce this increase.
A classic example of not having a CEO, and whoever made this decision is so out of touch with everyday supporters. Forest say they value their supporters-they clearly do not want any more season ticket holders then.
    A very bad decision.

If season tickets are up 15%, then match tickets will be too I suppose? Otherwise the season ticket value is reduced.

So that's, what, £40 plus booking fees for the Derby (h) sort of games.

    Probably.

For me, my ST prove equates to a few pence over £20 a game.

The full price version is nearer £23 a game.

    For the second division.

I love Forest, and am fortunate enough that I can afford a season ticket, but to be honest they are taking the piss with these prices for what is being served up, and the abject matchday "experience" that is offered.

Maybe there should be a poll added to this thread for current season ticket holders - How many of you are earning 15% more than you were last summer?

I wish the post did more polls and take more fans opinions about these kind of things to get story's. Local papers like the ones in Newcastle always thrive on interaction, surely it would do the post some good and get fans voices heard more.

Surly it would be better than four separate articles on one sentence by a player/manager.

All seat prices after early bird ends:

Ironically the code I had to type into Tinypic.com to get the upload was 'how fucking much'

It has to be said, it is yet another fantastic "own goal" from our beloved club.

A rise of 15%? How in the name of God is that even justifiable in the current financial climate?

Where's the 15% figure come from? That doesn't work by my maths. Still ridiculous though, especially considering the inflation rate being 0%

Can't believe season ticket prices have risen by 20%.

I'd like to know Fight 4 Stability's opinion on this.
