    Default Brian Clough lower.

Bit of a self indulgent thread.

Just bought a new season ticket on row 10 in the BC lower, what I need to know is when it rains will I get p*ssed on? Sat down there once before, really enjoyed the view the elements are my only concern.

Sit anywhere in that stand and it's a very real possibility, incontinence is a terrible thing.

You will get rained on and the chances are if the suns out you will have that in your face as well. Good for a tan, rubbish for watching football! (Agree about the view though, my first ST was BC lower).

    Block R checking in.

When it's windy you get rained on a bit and the sun is always in your face.

But the view cannot be beaten.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

I can handle the sun haha, as long as I don't get absolutely hammered by it and end up soaking I'm not too fussed, what row are you on?

Row 15, right at the back. Been there for years.

When it's sunny, take a cap or sunglasses!

Good seat there sir! The leg room on the back row is incredible.
I'm row 11 in block R (going forward), so other than torrential rain with winds, if it's just a bit of rain I should be safe?
When I say safe I mean my hair not getting wet

You'll be fine. It's mostly the first few rows that get wet; further back, you only get drizzled on when it's windy and the wind blows the rain back.

I like sitting at the back because you can stand up a bit without issue as there's nothing but a wall behind you.

And there's a big metal sign you can beat your fists against when Danny Fox lets yet another opponent stroll past him to score.

I was hoping they would open T Block permanently but it will be more for complimentary tickets apparently.

I'm in row 4 of BC upper, so my view is better than all of yours and I don't get rained on. Just saying.....

I am in that row, and the most wet I've ever got is when the hosepipe is spraying in my face. Other than that, it stays mostly dry!

Haha. Probably Upper Bridgford, that is why the Piss-net is fitted, to protect the away fans.

    It's not a hosepipe.

I've concluded from this forum that the best seat is on your arse at home watching a stream. That way you are not only a better, more knowledgeable fan, but you see more than that of the stupid happy clappers that attend the game.

Me and Mrs S were inveterate Lower BC devotees until the Wolves game.
As it was my first since the knee op, and I needed an aisle seat so as to stretch the leg out, and the only appropriate seats available were in the Upper BC, we had to watch from there.
The only "con" was that as a bit of a gobby type, I found myself yelling among a crowd of Monks who had all taken vows of silence.
The view from the Upper BC was a lot better than from the Lower BC, and we didn't get sun-blinded.
Mind you v Wolves, being able to see all of the game was a bit of a problem!

Reading this I wonder how many fans would stand in the old open Bridgeford stand now. Not many would be my guess. Fans aren't what they used to be.
