    Confirmation from a proper journalist:

Done enough to warrant getting the gig full time. Id be happy for a mid table seaosn next year playing good stuff and blooding our youngsters into the first team.

Not sure if the main man would agreed mind you.

I take it you don't go to the matches then Mr Foster. Yes we have lost 4 out 5 matches but the football played is a lot better with Freedman in charge rather than SP who I wanted to succeed.

Yes mr hawkeye1947 im there every week, it was more tongue in cheek than anything. Being serious for once keep reading fawaz is a madman who likes to sack folk willy nilly, the blokes lost 4 out of 5 and fawaz still has faith and should be commended for that. As for the contract i think it should have been signed weeks ago, should it not?

Your right, its madness to think anything to do with forest goes the way you'd expect.... Be nice though.

At this point id snap you hand off for DF to still be manager this time next year.

Maybe I will be first in line to want to drive DF out of the CG but it will be interesting to see what happens if we hang fire on a manager who goes through a rough patch to see if it bears fruit.
I actually believe with the club under the restriction of FFP DF stands a better chance of lasting a season or 2. If he doesn't and the performances and results are meh then I'm afraid we will be changing managers as regular as some visit the dentist for their quarterly check up for the foreseeable future.

    Fully agree with all that.

    My thoughts exactly.

Reality check next season I'm afraid and he appears to have the credentials for it.

No way pal, its a positive post its just worded incorrectly as i was coming to the end of my dump.

Fazza gets grief for being trigger happy but hes stuck by the man and i was crediting him for that.

Id also like to know what a bumfacedspartan is?

I agree entirely with your post but sadly the harsh truth is that at some point the expectation of some will mean that dissent grows to a clamour and the owner will take notice and allow those voices to rule over the sensible option and this time next year we will, in all liklihood, be wondering how the new manager will fare in the close season free transfer market.

Statistically there's more chance of you being manager this time next year than Bad times Doogie

3 more defeats , close season of booting out Reid followed by a slow start next and he'll be sacked by Twitter.
