yes! Haha. And also if you look at any of the teams at the top of this league, they all have strong, energetic midfielders who are always on the move all game, not for 10 minutes like Lansbury.

But Reid will probably be injured, Osborns better sitting a bit further back, Grant doesn't seem ready given his lack of inclusion this season, and Raddy cant get in Huddersfields team. If Reid is fine next season then that will be amazing but otherwise we need a replacement

Reid - tick [used to guide Osborn/Grant/Cash/Crookes/Yates/Gamblen so used for 30 mins off the bench and a start 1 in 2/3]
Osborn - I think he is so smart in and around the box, if he gets players on his similar wave length, this could be his best position. Don't like him too deep. To creative in thought and skill for that.
Grant - No time better time than the present. Just signed a 2 yr deal with an option of a 3rd & has been with the 1st team this week.
Majewski - tick [Used to rate him very highly but that was too many years ago now]

I just think we need a midfield controller. Someone who sets the tone for our team. We don't have anyone bar Gardner who can do it. Without this sort of player a number 10 is useless.

Can only see is signing a young player from Prem on loan for number 10 role and tbh I think we need to use loans sparingly.

He ruptured his cruciate knee ligament in September, 2014 and the doctors told him he'd be out for at least 9 months.

That brings us up to June, 2015 so to be honest he should be ready for the start of the new season. Probably won't be 100% and Dougie will no doubt introduce him slowly but should be ready nonetheless.

He'll make it up until his next knee injury in November, no doubt.

Chris Cohen on one leg with crutches is a better option at Left Back than Danny Fox.

Given it is his second rupture to this knee, I think his rehabilitation and reintroduction to the first team will be considerably longer than 9 months.

    Hasn't he injured both?

Aside from which players have come back from injuring the same knee more than once. Gardner, for one.

Im reasonably sure Cohen has done the same knee 3 times, it would be interesting to know ( if that is the case ) as to whether the injury is the same rupture re-tearing or just the same ligament tearing in different places, if its the former, it could be a problem with the surgery to repair it or him coming back before its properly healed.

We dont know much about Cohens injuries, but they seem to be just straight forward ACL tears, unlike the injuries to Assombalonga and Blackstock, which seemed to have involved multiple ligaments. Either way, we really need to take our time with Cohen, I personaly, wouldnt expect him to be back in the team before Christmas and given what was said about him having to change the way he plays the game, it could be a very frustrating season for him.

Gardner is different as he suffered his injuries when he was ( and indeed, he still is ) pretty young ( at 17 and 20 ), it seems to be easier to rebound and recover properly from these injuries if you suffer them whilst you are younger and your body can more efficiently repair itself

The third will always be a second if he has done one each on the first two occasions

Trade lansbury for Gardner. His freekick goal in the last match was better than anything lansbury has been doing with his lame freekicks for the last 2 months.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Lansbury scored a free kick against Bournemouth, and then one against Fulham. Got to admit though, never feel like we're gonna score from them. Will nice to have Reid back

I for one enjoy seeing Fox nudge it to Lansbury to blast over the bar.

Yeah think you are. Great player and can change a game when he turns up but to hit and miss. Played for 5 or 6 games for Dougie and now can't be arsed.
