Owd Doug don't like it when the crowd chants it, he'd like to have a word with whoever starts it

The best form of attack is to sign a striker on loan for less than 8-10k per week.

Watching the Forest Southampton League Cup Final the other day, I'm sure I heard the Forest faithful chanting this.

The best form of attack is to give the ball to Michail Antonio!

I remember watching a program on sky were they filmed a Burnley fan watching a game i think it was away at either preston or blackburn.....anyway he was in his mid 70's proper old boy who kept standing up shouting "attack, attack, attack" after him shouting it all game the camera caught another fan in front of him telling him that he "wished you'd have an attack, one in the heart so you'd stop shouting the same thing" miserable git

The Great Man's teams conquered England and Europe with a not disimilar brand of counter-attacking football that Dougie is trying impose, albeit with lesser-talented footballers.

The way he's managed to change the mentality of the players into not panicking when we don't have the ball is reminiscent of Cloughie's methods; to the point that change the colour of Bournemouth's kit and it could have been Forest v Liverpool 37 years ago, with identical possession stats and the same result.

Believe it or not, we had more than our fair share of moaners and malcontents then as well.

And from opposition players. The sour grapes from players like Souness and Thompson was always music to the ears.

And I agree about Dougie's counter attacking style. Being brought up in that era, it feels very 'Forest' to me.

Let's see if he can reign for 10% of the time. That in itself would be some achievement!!

    A tad harsh OMR.

I was just being a bit flippant. Apologies for offending you as it certainly wasn't my intention.

I forgot mention in my previous post that the irony of being abused over my age by someone with your username wasn't lost on me by the way.
