    What denier?

But, seriously I do that every match day in the winter. Thermal leggings and socks.

If I did, I'd never admit it, especially at Brighton.

Cycling tights are a requirement for winter matches for me.

I wear thermals under the jeans this time of year. The cold didn't seem to bother you on a packed terrace but with seating its different.

Doesn't the padding feel odd at football?

I have a pair of unpadded ones (normally worn over padded bike shorts).

They are cut and seamed to suit cycling I guess.

Running tights. At times I wondered if they actually made me feel colder.

Good Lord above, what a bunch of Brighton fans. I attend matches having motorcycled 10 miles in just boxer shorts and a t shirt, whatever the weather. Well . . . small!

I know these new flat pack stadiums get grief off many on here but some of the things you get in the new grounds are nice touchs such as padded seats.... Better than sharing a seat with folk either side of you like in the upper trent end.
