This might well be true. All I seem to see on my feeders are great tits.

    Not sure about that.
The sparrows don't push the smaller goldfinches off mine. And the starlings don't push the smaller sparrows off either.
They all get a go, sometimes at the same time, sometimes separately.

I came across a cracking pair of tits last night?

Was out for a walk with the missus today, went to the nature reserve at Holme Pierrepont, we were just getting back into the car when we saw a bloke going into the reserve with a parrot on his shoulder!

There isn't one. It was just the first time I've seen someone taking his parrot for a walk.

One swallow doesn't make you gay.

Captain, That is personally a little below the belt .

Ha! Someone gave my GF this feeder as a present a few weeks ago. Obviously if the birds don't eat the seed quickly, it gets rained on!

In her garden seeds go uneaten long enough to grow, in mine the starlings have completely emptied a coconut half I put out for the blue tits in 24 hours.

Watched about a dozen of them squabbling over it yesterday.

Mine is the same, have to fill it everyday. I've been trying to get hold of some sunflower hearts instead of the full seed so they make less mess but no one will deliver to Greece. Got my mate working on it now who owns a pet shop.
Wish I'd brought the binoculars to my mam, s, there are loads of birds on the trees outside but my eyesight is shot, I can't make them out.

Most of the hearts that come into the uk come from Bulgaria well mine do anyway as they are cheap .
Your pet shop man needs to get in contact with someone other there.

I thought I saw the factory in Bulgaria when I was googling. I'll have a word with him. I thought I'd got some on amazon but it took them 5 days to decide they wouldn't deliver to me.

My mate, Swanny is back. He's been dropping in for a slice of bread for about 4 years but disappears in the summer.

Not been birding for a while but came across this nuthatch in a tree in Clumber Park on Saturday. Was able to get really close!

Appalling pics so sorry, but it was rather awkward to get anything better on my phone. This happened 15 yds away from me.

I though it was a rat shagging a pigeon on my phone.
