The young are out already with the goldies , You probably haven't noticed them as they tend to sit just out of view.

Yes it's possible I just haven't seen any of them yet, but they were very noticeable last year. I only saw this year's starlings a week ago but there seems to be loads of them now.
It's the same story with the sparrows, saw lots of them being fed by the parents in my garden last year but haven't noticed them yet this.

    I'll keep my eye out.

We’ve got one next door, right near my cigar shed, many a Cuban has been ruined by their kids screaming and squealing.

My old neighbours bought one, you'd be sat in the garden and the kids heads kept popping up over the fence. The next time we had a drink with them she was taking the piss asking if we liked the trampoline. I just said " the clue's in the fucking name love".
It was gone by the end of the week.

What made me laugh is I spent a bank holiday weekend building that shed from timber, it wasn’t a flatpack thing from wickes. Three days later the neighbour is putting a trampoline up the other side of our privet hedge.
On top of that, their kids make more noise than the Lower Bridgford. They’re special needs, nice kids but ridiculously noisy.

Saw so many jackdaws at Eyam. They are easier on the eye than crows.

Having a decent amount of timber from creating the potting bench, I am thinking about creating a bird box.
What are the design tips to make it a success?
