    Default mackie, majewski, harding, abdoun.....

not sure what the situation is with all of these players. are those out on loan under contract beyond this season? can they be recalled? would you try to bring any of them back?

personally i have no idea why harding was allowed to leave. i also think that mackie's work ethic would be an asset for a struggling team.

Doubt any of the three out on loan will have recall clauses. They all had loan fee's involved.

I agree with Harding though - strange situation considering we just played a left winger at left back.

I doubt any proffesional player would want to come here anymore tbh.

Those 4 are probably on about 50-60k a week in total - with Abdoun accounting for half of it. Now, I'm half-expecting Abdoun to return from the cold but the others I reckon are not only locked into the loans but unlikely to be revelations commensurate with the 'investment' their return would provide. Isn't Raddy benchwarming at the 'Udders?

Bring back Majewski and start him in a midfield three with Vaughan and Osborn. Tesche is a passenger and Lansbury will probably be on his way.

I'd take Raddy back. We need someone who can pass. He should have come back when Reid went down.

I understood that season long loans were "unbreakable". So Raddy and Mackie are gone.

    Abdoun could make a return!!

I'd have Majewski and Mackie back and I'd want them to play some part in the first team. Even Harding, just for cover.

I'd let Freedman assess Abdoun's attitude and state of mind before letting him integrate with the group.

I'm sure we'll hear the same old bollocks we hear every time. Clean slate etc etc. What a new manager often does is bring back a player who has sidelined by the previous manager, you see it all the time. Could be abdoun or could be collins.

    Too lightweight.

Majewski scored a hat trick away at Freedman's Crystal Palace I think. He'll probably want a look at him.

Just the thought of taking any of these back makes me feel sad, defeated, angry. Bring Mackie back? Work rate is no use at all if you can't do anything with the ball. Majewski was good once, but not for a long time.

And can we please stop bringing up Abdoun as some untried, rare, gifted talent that has been cruelly pushed to the margins. He had his chances, he showed that he was selfish, idle, arrogant and no team player. He certainly didn't have the creative skills that would have otherwise justified his inclusion. Ask yourself, what kind of footballer is happy to sit on the sidelines, collecting his pay every week when he could take a pay cut and actually play some football somewhere else? A footballer not motivated enough to play football? Prefers the money? Waste of space.

Dont mind his physical presence & ability to break up play at DM. As a central midfield attacking option hes just another unwilling runner who forces us into long balls. Drifts in & out of the game to the point where he was non existent on Saturday.
