Thread: The demise of Nottingham Forest

Default The demise of Nottingham Forest

What plummets down the leagues always comes back. And it always looks like good honest fun when it does.

I propose we make the Sherpa Van Trophy a priority this time. It didn't do Wolves or Southampton any harm winning it. And we all long for a day out at Wembley.

    Wembley...Wembley!!

    Alright, I'm in.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Big days out at Bramall Lane and Fratton Park. Heated derby days against Notts, and a realistic chance of Wembley.

Old school thuggery. Cheap away tickets, cash on the turnstiles and a guaranteed Saturday 3pm kick off.

Anybody know what the tickets arrangements would be at County? Away tickets will be hard to come by, but I'm going one way or another.

Maximum of 45 per away applicant. What time can you get there?

Come on, Football Manager will be fun again. Starting in League Two with zero transfer budget and a squad of average youngsters and veteran journeymen.

1988 all 4th Division Sherpa Van Trophy Final Wolves v Burnley. 80k at Wembley.

Wolves had dropped three divisions in three seasons. Burnley had stayed in the Football League on the final day of the season the year before. They've both returned and surpassed us since. It's never that bad. And sometimes it's better.

Bull and Mutch up front. Club legends. About to win back-to-back promotions.

Every season we seem to implode, quite sick of it now.
