Default FA Youth Cup 5th Round: Nottingham Forest vs Burnley

After beating West Brom 3-0 away from home, thanks to a Tyler Walker hat-trick, forest now face Burnley in the fifth round. Burnley beat Cardiff 3-1 at Turf Moor, thanks to 3 goals from Burnley players and one goal from a Cardiff player (probably).

    Previously forest lined up 442:

    Erlandsson
    Yates Worrall Icovitti Kelly
    Burke Crookes Cash Gamblen
    Walker Mcdonagh

When: Tuesday 27th January 7pm KO
    Where: The City Ground

There isn't a senior game on until a week on Saturday, so if you've got nothing better to do on a Tuesday night (and lets be honest if you're reading this you don't) then go along and cheer them on or shout abuse at them or whatever you like to do on matchdays. I'll update with ticket pricing when forest tell us.

Here's a nice picture of some young forest players desperately trying to touch each other through some very transparent glass:

Here's a picture of hat-trick hero Tyler Walker looking both surprised and disappointed I used a picture of him in last years kit:

It should also be noted this is the 5th round not the 4th round, I hope none of you are too upset or surprised that a man on the internet would lie to you like this.

Come on you Forest (young) Men!

I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

*5th round But yes, should be a great game and hopefully get a good crowd, it's usually free for season ticket holders.

I've put a note at the end, but if a mod could change this I'd be grateful

The team v Brum pretty much indicates that they will be going into this game with the same team as WBA.

Team v Brum from yesterday (Friday)

    Erlandsson (2nd)
    Diallo (1st) Karo (2nd) Nielsen (1st) Worthington (2nd)
    Adams (1st) Burns (2nd) Otim (1st) Austin (2nd)
    Walton (2nd) Thomas (2nd)

    * Good to see u16 Kieran Hayes come on for Austin.

To see the contrast in 1st and 2nd years to the above team

Expected Team v Burnley on Tues

    Erlandsson (2nd)
    Yates (1st) Worrall (2nd) Iacovitti (1st) Kelly (2nd)
    Burke (2nd) Cash (2nd) Crookes (1st) Gamblen (1st)
    Walker (2nd) McDonagh (1st)

What do you think of Crookes? When I watched the home game against MK Dons I thought he was brilliant, wondering whether it was a 1-off.

I like him a lot. Works tirelessly off the ball and and is a good presence & that is why they've made him captain eventhough still a first year. Started off as a defender so knows the art of defending which is being lost in the game now. Can strike a good ball too.

Nope, just very erratic. Started on Friday v Birmingham. Thomas also has consistency issues. They both have very good days though.

I seem to remember that it was usually about £3 and you didn't need a season ticket but I haven't been to one this season yet.
Edit: I see elsewhere that the Vicar is saying that it's free entry with season ticket, even better.

Admission details similar to the last rounds.

Admission details have been confirmed for Nottingham Forest's FA Youth Cup fifth-round tie against Burnley at The City Ground.

Kevin MacDonald's side take on the Clarets in the last 16 of the competition tomorrow night (Tuesday 27 January, kick-off 7pm) and season ticket holders can gain free entry on production of their season ticket book at the turnstiles.

Admission to non-season ticket holders is priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions (under 18s and over 65s) and parking is available in the Brian Clough Stand car park.

The Reds made it through to this stage thanks to Tyler Walker's impressive hat-trick at West Bromwich Albion and will now host the Clarets after they defeated Cardiff 3-1 at Turf Moor

It's kicked off and there is text commentary on the forest twitter account. Sounds like it's all forest so far.
