    Default Tesche's Contract

Can we go about getting this extended? I thought he was brilliant today, and has been for a good while now. Plays like a typical German, and everybody needs a German in their life.

If I'm not mistaken his deal is up at the end of the season?

Him and Osborn gave the rest of the team confidence today as far as i saw it, signing him up for a couple of years could prove to be the best bit of business we have done in recent times.

"Tesche signed a one-year contract when he joined the club in the summer, but Forest do have an option to extend that by a further year – which Pearce has said they are likely to take up."

Tesche is clinical and unspectacular! Very German and exactly what we need!

i thought yesterday, and especially the second half, Tesche was top class. Second half he was moved further up the pitch as an advanced midfielder and he stopped Derby from building from the back and forced them to go more direct. Hope his contract does get extended as he has been a great signing for us.

He looks like he's enjoying his football with us. Whenever someone scores he looks ecstatic!

I have to admit, he's rapidly becoming a favourite for me.

Always looks committed, doesn't shirk a tackle and likes to bomb forward.

And loved his outrageous attempt to lob the keeper from the half way line yesterday.

Tesche auf der mittelfeld? Ja, naturlich!

He is more effective when pushed further forward. He had an excellent second half.

Haven't seen a Forest player intercept and tackle as much as he does for a long while. Just watch him closely in games and you will see how much he actual does it. Massively underrated job.

So glad the midfielders were working WITH him yesterday, instead of him chasing on his own.

He's got a shot on him, as well. Hope we give him a few years. Well worth it. And he does seem to be enjoying it here.

Got the header in from Osborn's set play also which for once then fell kindly to end up on the end of Dave's boot.

The energy and movement shown by Tesche, Antonio and Osborn gave us real momentum yesterday (thought Lihaj also showed well) and with Lansbury and the new lad Gardner sitting in front of the defense I thought we looked as solid as we have done since before before the home game against the sheep. Has SP finally found an effective formation to build from hereon?

    Tremendous energy. Sign him up!

He is simply a German midfielder in that respect. What I've seen of him, is a quiet hard worker who just gets on with the job. Relatively assured on the ball, good tackling, reads the game well. Why he shouldn't be starting each game, well, I wonder.

I do wonder about the intelligence of some of our support who cannot see what he brings to the side.

A certain starter for me, every week.

Agree completely, looked really good close to Britt and I am sure I recall Mancienne saying that tesche played behind the strikers at hamburg rather than deeper. Played really well yesterday as did everyone else.

    Wobble.

Him Lansbury and Gardner are a very nice midfield three, then stick Reid in front of two of them.

I walk around like everything is fine but deep down, in my shoe, my sock is sliding off.
