Barry nailed it earlier in the thread. If he ever becomes our manager then that means things have gone very badly for us from this point on.
If this post does not smell of Skysports brainwashed then nothing will. Disgrace IMO.

Ridiculous that this discussion is even happening.
Sabri is doing a top job so there's no role.

Nigel has done a solid job everywhere he's managed, often under difficult circumstances.
He would be a good appointment but it will never happen.

And for those having a pop at him maybe have a look at yourselves. It's fine to not want him, but just state your case and move on. He was a fantastic player for this club, and what he did should be respected.

Somebody bumped this thread to comment on how an ex player is doing a very a good job.

Haven't spotted anybody suggest he should be appointed as Forest manager now. Nevertheless if a just few more people could check in to express their incredulity at the non-fact that this debate that isn't happening is even taking place, we could soon have a new meme.

I see some chap in the West Country thought up an ingenious idea to pack his pub out for one night. He had a night to celebrate "Nigelness" because his school mates took the piss out of Nigel's name. Apparently 433 were there as well as many non-Nigels.

I always thought of Nigel as a non-controversial name, not like Rupert for instance, which is always used to describe anyone slightly incompetent or rather snotty. We always called our pilots Ruperts.

If you want evidence of the coolness of the name Nigel, look no further than this guy, who takes 'Nigelness' to eleven

If he had a coolness rating out of 10, it'd defo be 11.

No idea who he is. He must act cool, because he certainly doesn't look cool.

If true, just goes to show what a class act he actually is.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

“We hope that by stepping away it helps the club with the financial pressures in these unprecedented times, and that it will also help the club secure the jobs of as many of the staff as possible going forward. We are sure Jake will benefit from the experience and continuity of having as many of the current backroom staff as possible supporting him.”

Would like to see him get an opportunity at a club with some money to spend. The scouting network in place (cheers simon) has steadily brought a tidy profit to burton. Also had no bother with letting a player go who didn't want to be there.
