Infantino protected the two "too big to fail" clubs, Bayern wants out of the German national team, big clubs want a league of their own, football capitalism thrives.

In other news, the sun rises in the east.

FC Bayern can fuck off, and take the other monied pricks backed by despotic governments, with them.

Leandro Paredes, the former Boca player playing for Zenit is being accused of purposely getting himself red carded in order to fly to Argentina and attend the first leg of the Copa Libertadores final between Boca Juniors and River Plate

Milan and Inter sign an agreement to open talks to possibly consider either doing up the Meazza or building and brand spanker somewhere (hopefully the opposite side of Milan to the san siro for purely selfish reasons).

Betis currently 2-0 up at Barca and looking pretty comfortable. It seems they've found where the net is at last.

When I saw you had the latest post in here, I assumed you was taking the piss out of Inter and the performance today. It was totally inept, Inter really don't have the depth in the squad to handle the league and CL football.

Was shocking wasn't it. Inter have lacked guile and someone to unlock a defence for a while now. If they can't get decent crosses to Icardi they're kind of stuck.

Milan (or what's left of them) play Rubentus tonight so I'm fully aware that any piss taking i do now will only bite me in the arse this evening

Mr Buckeye you seem to know a bit about South American footy. What's Lucas Paqueta like? Is he any good?

Only saw him play once for Flamengo. Lethal left foot but VERY left footed. Not particularly fast but has nice, tight control. Good technically and can pick a pass. In the game I saw, he tried to get a little too tricky. Looks a good, young player but like I said, I've only seen him once.

Sounds like just the sort of player Milan need. Especially the pick a pass bit. We have Suso and his cut inside trick and a couple of decent crossers but other then that, nothing at all creatively speaking.
