Well done to him, happy for him.

He got a move he wanted and was ready for. We got a decent fee for a lad who always gave his all and was going into the last year of his deal.

Great to see Benny shine last night. Blades fans are chuffed.

If Bamford is promoted with Leeds this season all 3 from the same age group in the Prem at the same time starting up from Forest u9s.

    What a photo.

If I have my spectacles on correctly, Bamford back row to the left of Lascelles as we are looking at the photo.

Benny third from the left on the front row.

He's done exceptionally well considering he hasn't grown since that picture was taken

Any others in that team make it to scholarship level or above? Unlike Lascelles, great things weren’t expected of either Osborn or Bamford until they were much older weren’t they?

They’ve all done really well to get where they are in their career.

Yeah, and Lascelles was a beast back then too as well by the looks of it.

Osborn was definitely one with no early high expectations. Just a good player that worked hard. This group went to Greece and won a tournament and Bamford was leading goalscorer so I think they always knew Bamford could go far but need to get a bit stronger in his body. Remember Lascelles starting pre-season with the first team at 16. Only Appiah and Mighten have done that since.

Probably the other one in this group with high expectations was Northern Irishman , David Morgan, who joined u15s/u16s.

In that pic Jack Andrews (2nd from left), David Papworth (2nd from right) & I think Joe Swindell (back right) got scholarships.

Steve Stone's Mullett will tell of the connections we have with West Park School in Derby. Osoborn, Lascelles and Swindell all went there.

Jack Andrews is still close mates with Benny. They run a coaching school together.

David Papworth was on soccer AM representing Nottingham Forest. Big Reds fan.

The group below had Jordan Smith, Kieran Fenton, Lawrence Gorman, Jack Blake & Kieran Wallace. They just didn't kick on although Blake has forged a really good career in USA and Wallace with Burton Albion.

You chose between the one that supports those who've lost a baby (apologies I can't remember the name)or MacMillan Nurses pal and I'll chuck a tenner in too.

My Dad spent his last few days in Haywood House, that was 24 years ago and I'll never forget their kindness.

I dont think I've ever heard anybody say a bad word about them, which is rare even for a charity.

Don’t worry, one of them will flick the other in the nads whilst they’re getting a reacharound, I’m sure.
