Been a great season for Adam Crookes. Another character made of the right stuff. Along with Erlandsson there is every possibility we could have 9/11 players from 14/15 Youth Cup Team play for Forest.

Still an outside chance of us making the play-offs. But we relying on Sheff Wed to choke twice & us to win our last game on top of this.

U23's winning 3-0 and Wednesday's losing keeps our play off hopes alive if results stay the same!

And Colchester have just scored to go 1-0 up vs Sheff Wed

As things stand going into the last game

    Sheff Wed +9 49
    Forest +9 47

    4-0

Hattrick for Gomis. Takes his tally to 19 for the season. Put two brilliant seasons together goal scoring wise.

    Subs were

    En-Neyah for Ariyibi
    Fornah for Smith
    Harbottle for Stewart

    Really disappointing.

Sheff Wed equalised on 92 minutes and Colchester missed a pen on 95

So Sheff Wed can draw their last game against Burnley at home.

We've got Huddersfield away which we obviously have to win.

Bryan, what’s Gabriel’s injury status ? He’s already had one long term injury already hasn’t he?

Would love to see Gomis given a run out for first team. Brereton got the chance....

Picked up a groin injury. Played a couple of months after and then did it again and was out for 16/17

This season he has played more but been very stop-start.

The academy staff felt he didn't report back in as good a shape he needed to be in the summer so couldn't tell Warburton/Weir to take him to USA. Believe he failed the fitness test.

With Jayden Richardson showing serious serious talent it is looking very difficult for him.

He is in his last year of contract but no one will want to take him on loan until he gets in a groove especially as a df.

Take forward Kieran Hayes - still think if he can score and create next season he has a bigger chance in the game because of his attitude. He like Gabriel has had two seasons of injury issues but his was a ACL in pre-season before last. He came into the club every day last summer with Sam Greenwood to be ready for this season. That is commitment, work ethic and a passion for what they do.

Thought with Jack Lester leaving his post at Chesterfield recently - it would be good to put this here.

Micchie was England u15/u16 coach and he has been a big reason in the improvement of young English players developing in the system at the moment but the cut-throat world of senior coaching isn't for the faint hearted.

He was one who took a particular liking to some of our u16 and u17 players. Hence the England call-ups.

    Good read
