Proof, if ever more were needed, that the almighty is indeed a Forest fan.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Amazing how he had that dynamic start, then as soon as he got the job, the clouds began to roll in. Almost as if the Gods of Football are repaying Man U for the Fergie years.

I remember very well. That block was somehow deserted in the 2nd half, even the police backed off and let it happen in the concourse.
That was the last bit a real naughty stuff by Forest I witnessed. I despised them after that

I think there was a bit of payback for the ambush at old Trafford after we had beaten them in the FA Cup quarters a couple of years earlier.

About to be overtaken by other English clubs in the Deloitte rich list for the first time since Sky invented football. So far away from being the best team in their own city. Really flattered by 0-2 today.

Thirty years Liverpool went without winning the title when their dominance ended at the start of the nineties. United were on a run of about twenty years without winning one at the time. How far will they fall down the global money league if they go that sort of length of time again without winning a title or Champions League?

I see them doing an AC Milan, dictating European football without being good enough to open their mouths

    Beautiful! Quite apt.

United are truly shite now. Don't understand why I sometimes still have a punt on them.
I don't even think it's football they're playing. Some kind of meaningless passing the ball to death. Tiki-take in reverse can best describe it.

They were clueless against Burnley. Passing the ball all over the place but never getting close to the penalty box. No idea footy is what I call it. Nobody dares to shoot. The moment someone gets the ball, is as if they been given a live grenade, immediately have to move it on, don't matter where, just pass it on.

But there was 1 truly beautiful moment in tonight's match at Old Trafford. Do you know what it was?
The game started with a crowd of 73000 or so. By the 75th minute, there were less than half around, Nearing full time, I wonder if there were 10000 left!
This from fans who used to ape about "Fergie time"

If anybody is still frustrated about last night's draw, the Mzn United forum was an entertaining read yesterday

Football was always, is and will always be cyclical.

    Teams rise and teams fall.

All money has done is artificially maintain a team's position on the curve but the curve will always win.

The demise of Manchester United is inevitable and a VAST number of football supporters (basically everyone bar 75000) will surely enjoy at least a little schadenfreude...

From the "theatre of dreams" ( :vomit: ) through Ferguson's treatment of the press and the general arrogance of the masses of casual ManU plastic 'fans', there's a delicious satisfaction to be had watching it implode.

Once the sponsor deals recognise the demise and the vast revenue stream starts to dwindle, the demise will snowball.

    Bring it on.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

The only downside is that their demise has been offset by the rise of those shitbags from the other end of the East Lancs Road.

Somebody has to be at the top table.

The unseen corporations that run sport these days demand it.

That makes it even better! To eclipsed totally by their two most hated local rivals is just brilliant! lol!
