Default Sky Bet League 2 & Non-League Discussion Thread

John O‘Shea and (maybe) Wes Brown have got to be in there - Man U and Sunderland?

I said both of those. I was only given Wes Brown. Haven't checked it.

Anyway, how many can you name...
    Roy Keane

    Jonathan Greening?

Notice I've added an extra criteria "and played for Forest".

Kanu is the most famous one I can think of? Geremi springs to mind, did he also play for Boro or Portsmouth? I was thinking Mendieta as well but can’t remember if he played for Valencia or Real Madrid.

    Kanu yes.

Geremi I could barely remember. Was given Cameroon and went through the Italia 90 team.

    Kanu was Ajax and Portsmouth?

    Geremi played for Boro.

But not Mendieta - he played for Valencia, and they never won the Champions League, they lost two Finals under the Management of Hector Cúper (one of those was to Madrid).

    Geremi relegated with Newcastle.

Palace and Blackburn went down with Champions League winners.

Just checked and Greening captained West Brom to relegation from the Premier League so I'm having that.

2 ex Forest players so far. Are there any others...

I was given Greening reluctantly. He was given a medal.

Sheringham played in a relegation season at Forest, but that doesn't count. And his Millwall relegation was pre PL.

I don't have a definitive list. I think they actually messed the question a up (maybe should have been relegated twice) as there more than then they expected. But it passed some time.

So one at Palace, one at Blackburn, one at Leeds another at Portsmouth . Then I don't know any more, but there probably are.

I know it's League 1, but Posh spending again this summer. They must push us for most new signings each summer.

Just broke their transfer record on Mo Eisa from Bristol City.

Makes me wonder if they'll be selling Ivan Toney this summer, as they also have Matt Gooden there.

Would love to see us get Toney. I think he's a great all round forward, got a bit of everything, still only 23 but has a lot of experience and is on the cusp of making the next step up I feel.

Given that Peterborough seem to always sign younger players that they can develop and then sell on, maybe we could use someone like Tyler Walker as part of a deal for Toney?

While I am not someone who thinks we are in desperate need of another striker and I am happy for Walker to be.given a chance here as back up, I do rate Ivan Toney and think he'd be a great addition.
