Default Sky Bet League 2 & Non-League Discussion Thread

I've covered the other leagues so I may as well do the rest, I enjoy lower league football myself, It's nice to see an 'old fashioned' team in Luton back in the FL. Can they stay up though? personally I think they will now, their finance issues seem behind them.

I watched a few Salisbury games last year too, I'd probably class them as my second team whilst living down here, sad to see them hoofed out of the Skrill Premier. They have an owner who doesn't seem particularly bothered about them.

Upsetting to see what happened to Hereford too. It says a lot about football when just one weeks worth of Wayne Rooneys wages would have saved both clubs.

I note the Conference is now the Vanarama League! Where do they get their sponsors. From Skrill to Vanarama.

Not much to contribute, but I see Bencherief is at Lincoln now, 0-0 with Kiddy this weekend.

I saw him at Wembley in May last year, Conference play off final.

With Rushall Olympic now in the Northern Premier League.

Yes, good to see Luton back on the league, though I'd rather it have been Wrexham. Perhaps more fitting for Wrexham to do it this time to mark their 150th anniversary season. Would like to see Southport make it back some day too.

Hmmm, 5 teams on maximum points from first two matches. Barnet starting as they did last season, with Halifax and Gateshead continuing where they left off.

Early days yet. Salisbury will be a safe bet for the Vanarama pritt stick skrill southern league.

Anyone remember Robert Gill and Daniel Blair?

They play in my team's league for Clifton All Whites. I think Aaron Mitchell was there last year.

Andy White formerly of Notts, Mansfield, Crewe and others also in the league for Swanwick Pentrich Road.

Dan Martin, formerly of Derby, Notts and Mansfield plays for my side, and are also managed by former Leeds player Gary Hamson.

If you go on the Central Mids site... http://full-time.thefa.com/ProcessPu...League=1854955

It does say Clifton All Whites.

Congratulations St. Albans City on promotion to the Conference South.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Darlington get promoted this year. Decent fan base who were screwed over by a wacky owner.

Great start to the season for Ilkeston FC.

    4-1 win over Witton Albion.

Nice to see them doing well with Steve Chettle on their staff and having Jordan Smith on loan from us, with former Forest lads such as David Morgan (far too good for that level) James Reid and Callum Chettle.
