I realise that I am repeating myself here but we should have signed Sam Clucas from Mansfield when we had the chance. That lad will go all the way to the top. He was excellent again last night.
Paul cook is going to pompey.

Evatt of course was a former Blackpool player (Preston's rivals).

    Disgraceful behaviour.

Preston are winning a play-off competition. There is hope for us all.

    Welcome back, Big Phil.

    Indeed.

Another deluded big city club who think that they have a right to be higher up the league.

While not getting them promoted he has given the fans far more than Forest over the last 18 months.

Bit harsh. Not sure if Sheff U have the patience for what he was trying to achieve though.

Sheff U new manager will have a good sound springboard with players who'll put a shift in and have the right attitude.

You see, if Nigel came here he'd fail but maybe just maybe he'd put the right foundations down for our club to finally be rid of the player power culture that's ingrained down at the City Ground, and the reason why we've had to endure years and years of abject misery.

Can he we please get him here in some sort of capacity? Doguies sidekick?

I suspect he'll get plenty of job offers.

Two weeks ago, he'd have been a good bet for Chesterfield given up to now he's taken jobs close to home. Plenty of jobs will come up in the next six months though. Forest and County are probably two.

Popped up to see Chesterfield this afternoon. Cracking game, 2-0 up with ten minutes to play then lost 3-2

Off to see how Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank is getting on with Burton against Coventry tomorow. Should be a good game.

Sods law that the only weekend I am likely to get off between now and Christmas is the one time when Forest haven't got a game.

It's 1-1 at half Time, with Marcus Tudgay equalising for Coventry.

Another enjoyable afternoon in the late summer sunshine. Not the greatest game of football I've ever seen but ok for Division 3. Managed a quick word with Tudders after the game who said he always still looks out for the Forest score and thoroughly enjoyed his time with us. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank did not look a happy man. The better team won.

P'boro chairman has said a current Championship manager has applied for the role there.

Wonder who it could be. Bowyer? Rosler?

Popped over to Warsaw this afternoon to catch Chesterfield's smash and grab win. Two shots all afternoon, two goals. Be thankful we have Dougie rather than Dean Saunders who spent the whole afternoon waving his arms around with little effect. Got his win mind you.

I'm shocked he got that job in the first place, the guy seems unemployable.

I think it just shows that once you get on the managerial merry-go-round your set up for life

By all accounts he impressed immensely at his interview. Dave Allen who is now Chesterfields Chairman and was formerly chairman at Sheffield Wednesday is a canny and successful businessman and wouldn't appoint him based upon his playing career. He obviously saw something there to give Saunders his chance as his record prior to joining Chesterfield is hardly glowing.

Coventry City's kit this season is outstanding. I almost want one.

That's the sort of kit that wins you promotion.

Their kit is either ace or appalling. Never in between.
Can you remember the old Admiral kit they had in the late 70's, and I'm sure the away strip was brown

That Brown Talbot-Sponsored shirt was an abomination.

It's regularly voted the worst kit ever.
