    Default SKYBET LEAGUE 1 - 2015/16

League 1 is up and running with the battle of the boring, Steve Cotterill's Bristol City are facing Nigel Clough's Sheffield United.

Who do we think will be taking the step up this year? Who will be going down to the depths (County probably)

For me it's going to be Doncaster and Barnsley bouncing straight back up, Yeovil's owner won't invest in the team and has pumped the 7m he won from promotion before into the local taxi firm (ITK )

I can see Leyton Orient snatching promotion from Peterborough in the playoffs.

I think he will be great there. Good luck to him. I don't mind Leyton Orient. Old fashioned club.

He'll get about 20 goals for them, he's a good finisher just not good enough for this league

Leyton Orient may bring him with them to this league

This is League 2 but ah well...Exeter City were struggling so much with injuries that their 41 year old manage Paul Tisdale named himself on the bench

I was going to do a League 2 thread but I didn't think it would be worth it. I'll get on it now.

See the Sheff Utd sending off yesterday on the FLS (49 mins in). The decked Chesterfield player flips around like a goldfish that's just been pawed out of the bowl. Footballers have no shame.

Bet it was a good game though.

I like their away kit. Like ours in the Frank Clark era.

I like a traditional white/red away kit, but that blue/green number just worked.

Wasn't sure where to put this, seems a relevant thread.
The Phantom was flown over Meadow Lane yesterday...

Will they become Coventry Wasps then?

Aye, twas a cracking match. Chesterfield are my second team having lived there during my teens at the age I
started to go and watch footie on my own. Always good to see them defeat the big city boys from up the road.
Have seen some great games at Saltergate down the years against the Blades.

Was good that I didn't have to choose between Forest and the Spirites on this occasion with Forest playing
    on the Sunday.

Bloody awful play acting to get the red card. The Chessy fans were ripping the piss out of him all match
following it. Bet he feels a bit of a twat now. He'd have been sent off even without the histrionics.

Proper full blooded local derby, with a cracking atmosphere. Best match I've been to in years.

Can't wait to play them at Bramall Lane for the last game of the season.

Don't think there's a thread on him but it baffles me how blind Sheffield Untied fans are to Ched Evans' rape. I can honestly say there is no player I'd welcome back here if they'd done what he has.

Been roped into watching Yeovils replay with Accrington Stanley this week. On the plus side if I do go, I have my name reserved for a ticket automatically for the game against manure, earn me a few quid on eBay that with the manure supporting mongs round here.
