Default WHICH TWO NEW SIGNINGS WILL CALM EVERYONE DOWN ?

If Lascelles and Darlow are heading out of the door , and then straight back in on loan to help with this seasons promotion push which two players could we also get in this week to help us get promotion so that we are playing against them next season?
I hope we can get Brit Assombolonga in - he has the pace we need to scare defenders and allow the midfield to run into the gaps . How about getting a couple of extra players in on loan from Newcastle who have a massive squad - maybe this will be part of any deal anyway and why things have not been annopunced officially yet ? How about Haris Vuckic ( loaned last year to Rotherham) or Remy Cabella ?

Adomah would be good though lots not so keen because of his cost.
    Wickham would be class.
Some talking about Rhodes but won't happen. Some will expect it though.
Think people will have to be realistic.

Not being funny but if we sell Darlow Lascelles and Lansbury for 10.2 then we should expect someone big otherwise something's up.

I want Albert Adomah and Connor Wickham. It will calm me down.

Guedioura, McCleary & Guedetti. That's three as two wouldn't cut it. Should only cost us twice (£10m) what we sold Lascelles & Darlow for... We've been robbed!

McEachran, Obertan and Wood seems more feasible, but I harbour some hope that Pearce will pull something magical out of the bag

Are there any rumours circulating about Guidetti and have there ever been or is he just on a few people's fantasy shopping lists?

Yeah, he's off to Feyenoord, but permanently this time. Or maybe Ajax.

We should strike while the iron is hot. Give it 10 minutes and Rhodes' wages will be back up to 75k a week.

Guidetti has been playing for the Man City first team in the tournament in the USA -I think he will be a part of their 25 squad this season .

I heard a rumour he wants out, not much chance of action with their strike force. He's definitely not coming to Forest though

He crops up every transfer window but as I suspected it's just wet dreams rather than anything concrete linking him to us.

Still couldn't see him getting game time at Citeh though

even if it was Messi and Ronaldo there'd still be some moaning c*nts saying they'd upset the balance, dressing room etc

Adomah and Rhodes would probably do more than calm down and would put the needle further towards excitement than before this business I guess.
That would mean we had money to spend already and this was purely to add to it for transfer purposes, and for whatever reason we (Fawaz; Pearce not being involved it seems) wanted Lascelles/Darlow to be loaned back or that's what Newcastle wanted or they wouldn't pay much more anyway and neither would anyone else.

If this is about FFP in some way then ok (although Pearce should know what's going on and agree to it even in this day and age - certainly he should know even if Fawaz had to explain why he wasn't taking his advice or couldn't get more money for the pair I'd say). I'd hope, since he bought his £4m home, that it isn't because there is no money to spend on the team even after these sales though. The Premier League, let alone the 3rd star would seem a bit of a distant hope in that case even if the squad's not been reduced in itself (I think it could do with at least a wing forward and striker still, although ideally an AM too and maybe a quality CM on loan still - maybe that's greedy though but if we're going for promotion I think that'd make it more likely). I think fans should try and be reasonable with Fawaz though. Pearce still expects to make signings clearly (maybe, if we're lucky, Adomah would be one and would obviously not be cheap - it almost seemed from Pearce's interview that he was the one not wanting to pay over the odds a la Wenger, not that Fawaz had denied him money when chasing Callum Wilson or whoever). And Fawaz has always wanted to get to the Premier League, which was probably why he sacked Billy Davies even although that was mainly because we lost heavily to Derby and fans were annoyed about it I think (plus the general trend in the second half of last season, even with the injuries).

Where did you hear/read we'd bid for someone mate?

I'll try and have a look online, but don't have other sources.

Cheers. I heard the comment that he hoped we'd get players in before the weekend but certainly before the end of the window and maybe even loans after that. I must have missed him say something about a bid but according to what you write it seems two are in the pipeline at least. We'll see then. I didn't find anything on the internet.

Wouldn't need to be big money signings for me. Just two players, hopefully with pace, who were at the top of Pearces wanted list. Smooth things over a little between manager and owner and restore a little trust.
