    My Wednesday supporting mate thinks Antonio is decent - fast and powerful, although a little inconsistent.
    Hopefully Pearce can build that consistency.

    From a Wednesday supporting mate of mine:

    Pacey as the day is long and strong as well. Has a tendency to over dribble, especially when he cuts inside and loves the showpiece balls but he pulls them off occasionally. Won't offer anything tracking back.

    In all he's a good Champo caliber attacking wing and I am sorry to see him leaving. One caveat here is that he had been struggling a lot with injuries over the past eighteen months, particularly with his groin and that could be a concern long-term.

    Most of their fans are unhappy, but satisfied with 2m. They're gonna be gutted if it really is 400k.

    Great profile for a Pearce signing. 24 years old and should have something to prove, lightning quick and potential to be a very good player with the correct guidance.

    Any fee around £400K would repsresent a bargain.

    Agree completely with the sentiment. 1/3 of the Crown Jewels money on Antonio. Let's hope he finds his consistency with us.

    I also hope he is correct but my information, that incidentally broke this story don't forget, says he is wrong.

    Either way, it's half the cash that Boro want for Adomah.

    By the looks of him, he adds some totally different attributes to the squad.and looks like a belated replacement for McCleary.

    400k does sound very low for a player that's had PL interest. Like Tutts said, even if it's 2m it's less than Adomah's cost (although I can't say that Adomah isn't much better than Antonio)

    To cheer me up I could do with someone posting a YouTube montage on Antonio's skills...

    They can keep him for £1.5-2M. Way too much money. Sorry Owls fans but we make a loss on Cox by the same token you can expect to make a loss on Antonio.

    400K fine but seems unrealistic and Owls fans are having none of it!

    I like how they have their own version of Alf on there with similar analogies;

    "I want to be upset but I have that feeling where you're dumping a lass who you chased for so long but eventually you got to know her a bit better and she always did the same thing in bed and it just got a bit stale and you feel like you should be bothered and cry into the pillow at night but really you're not that bothered. Like it was lust more than true love."
